  1. Any movement on this? I just got a rental that had it, and I wouldn't mind adding it to my ltz 2023
  2. Yes, I got pricing. There is the LZ0. I wanted the northsky blue, I didn't look at any of the others
  3. Ordered mine today. And GM accepted the order. So hopefully soon!
  4. If this gets done. Im in. I have a 2014 that i never did the 2.5 upgrade on. Would love to jump to the 3.0 with the hd camera and built in nav
  5. looks like I'm getting in on the fun i have a 2014 silverado LT that was built in 13' haven't tested the plug, but if it doesn't work, @pgamboa always had the fix! 84483768 steering wheel sourced from https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-wheel-84483768/?c=Zz1zdGVlcmluZyZzPXN0ZWVyaW5nLXdoZWVsLWFuZC10cmltJmk9R0gxNDM0MjUmcj0xJmE9Y2hldnJvbGV0Jm89c2lsdmVyYWRvLTE1MDAmeT0yMDE0JnQ9bHQmZT01LTNsLXY4LWZsZXg%3D 23381964 clock spring from https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-clock-spring-23381964/?c=Zz1lbGVjdHJpY2FsJnM9YWlyLWJhZy1jb21wb25lbnRzJmk9R0ExNTQ4MDUmcj0xJmE9Y2hldnJvbGV0Jm89c2lsdmVyYWRvLTE1MDAmeT0yMDE0JnQ9bHQmZT01LTNsLXY4LWZsZXg%3D $294.34 total with shipping costs. which I believe is reasonable looking foward to the parts showing up!
  6. ANOTHER ONE BITS THE DUST mine went out yesterday, dealer fixed it today for the low price of 1300... so glad I got the extended warranty. this year alone has paid for itself
  7. I have this problem and it is coming from both sides now. i have not tried chamfering the edges yet, but i have to do something, it bugs me. I have re lubed the slide pins, but i didn't isolate the noise away from the pads/rotors because i didn't have a brake clamp handy. I did bleed the brakes to make sure there was not any air in the calipers. and it persists
  8. send pgamboa a message, he will sort you out! he also has kits for you to modify your harness, or he was selling modified harnesses and would give you money for your "core" harness.
  9. I guess I didn't read your first post fully. to upgrade from DQS from DL3 mirrors, you need the factory DQS with the memory built into them. (I did aftermarket ones) the link I posted earlier will walk you though checking your door harness for the proper wires (may need to run one wire from under the hood for marker lights) but, chances are for you, that it will be a "bolt in" situation but, pgamboa is your man if you have any questions! he was there every step of the way for me, and many others!
  10. READ ALL THIS, I ADDED POWER FOLDING TO MY DL8 1500. you should only need to add the switch and the powerfold type mirrors
  11. so, besides boosted auto works, has anyone seen replacement glass for the trail ridge upper glass on the mirrors? mine got scratched at the car wash... any leads would be helpful! thanks!
  12. Thank you pgamboa! Finished up my mirror install of AM-2558332961 mirrors with Phil's diy harness, new switch, and rzy harness! all went according to plan and Phil was there for all the questions I had. My truck is a 14 LT crew cab short bed Only above and beyond I did was the cargo lights, I added another switch under the dash between the pink and brown connectors so I can activate them while backing up my trailers, I did not want them coming on all the time with the fob. But, Without pgamboa, this mod would have a much greater learning curve. Thanks!
  13. I am currently doing this upgrade. I bought the aftermarket DQS like mirrors when I currently have DL8s on my 14' LT 1500 list of what you need door harness from PGamboa DQS mirrors powerfold switch (there are 2 different choices, so check your current switch first) and if you check your body harness by the door (details in the first post) you will see if you need the added pins to the connector. I bout these because they were cheaper than those because they are verified to be the exact same thing for a cheaper price. Or you can chase down the factory DQS mirrors. hope that helps
  14. con'd these are the 5 different part numbers I am between 1AMRP01786 $669.95 AM-4039565055 $600.70 AM-3397687628 $599.20 AM-592278965 $579.75 AM-2558332961 $572.00 (prices as of (11/20/2017) and to clerify my truck its a 2014 crew cab, short bed, LT, allstar package
  15. What a roller coaster this thread is! (just read everything to get my self up to speed) Is there any update on 1A/AM Auto? and did they raise their pricing? I am looking to buy and would like the power fold with the puddle lamp tow mirrors, but I don't want to head strait into problems. I have a 14' built in 13' with DL8s. looks like I need: RZY Harness (will verify pins are missing before purchasing) diode mod with 1N4004 custom harness (not sure if ill go with the full or diy just yet) new door switch driver/passenger mirrors from a source TBD (open for suggestions)
  16. whats up, so I got around to running e85 for 2 months before the weather changed in my 14' 5.3 crew cab/short bed/ with 3.07s stock tune here were my findings" Placebo effect, i loved flooring it everywhere the trans just felt like it knew how to shift better then it has in the last 1.5 years I have owned the truck it felt more powerful hard numbers on 87 octane, i was paying between 14-15 cents per mile on e85, it went down to 12-13 cents per mile, even with flooring it more i was averaging 14 miles to the gallon on e85 vs 15.6mpg on 87 towing same trip/load with 87 I could touch 13 mpg, with e85 I was just below 10mpg conclusion The truck off the lot seems to take advantage of E85, but there is no financial reason to run it due to the increased consumption. I really liked running it in the summer when it was hot out, but as soon as it got cold, I the cranking time to start the motor shot way up, so I switched back to 87. Though, I should have run it on the track to see the times, I might next summer. Then possible look into getting it tuned
  17. I'm interested to know why you needed the extra parts to run e85? I thought the 14+ trucks were ready to run that right from the factory.
  18. awesome! Ill check it out when I get a chance. I'm also working out the basis for tow mirrors, but im not sure if I can find a set in my price rage with power fold.
  19. been reading this, and Im looking at doing an aftermarket set (i have a 300$ ish budget for this) so... I just need power folding mirrors and the different switch to get these going? or is there more that i'm missing?
