  1. Has anyone had issues with there pro trailer camera system. My camera is now after a few trips blacking out and or freezing. Mostly blacking out???
  2. I just bought my 2022 GMC Denali HD 2 months ago. I have a trailer I pull so the camera tech was a big selling point. The camera system worked seamlessly the first two trips and now on the system after a few minutes going down the road pulling my trailer, the screen goes black and says: "no axillary camera recognized". I use it for the outside not inside view. Is anyone else having problems with there's????????? I also had an isolated issue with using the front camera when pulling into a parking garage and it went black. That only happened once; however, now three trips in and the pro-trailering camera system is consistently failing. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only have 1500 miles on this truck/camera system.
  3. So this engine temp is normal? My truck isn’t broken in yet but I’m towing a trailer half it’s capability. Got to admit I’m concerned. - 2022 GMC Denali Gas
  4. I appreciate all the dialogue. I really thought I wouldn’t be able to use the system because the salesman lied about how long the trailer could be. I have 35 foot trailer. More than enough cable but didn’t realize the cut off was 32’11. I went back and programmed the max numbers for the trailer and it worked. Works well enough for me to see to make good judgment calls while pulling. Thx to all.
  5. Most of the guys here seem like true enthusiast. I know I am. I actually like the Toyota better. The 5.7 is a beast compared to the 5.3.....thanks to the 4.30 rear end. I get about 15.5 mpg.....who cares with no headaches and countless visits to the dealership. Plus if I choose......Toyota has the hands down best resale. Only thing I miss about my Silverado is the 110 plug in. I also miss the onstar. I have everything else in my Toyota Tundra Limited that I had in other Truck. The seats are sturdier as well imo. I had the seat track problem In my Silverado as well.....check out that forum. Perhaps it's caused by the vibration. Lol. Just a joke. Just too many issues. I'd still try Chevy again in 10 years or so when Im tired of my current Truck. I'm fairly certain it will be from boredom and not mechanical issues. The truck is just proven. Good luck to all.
  6. 2012 crew cab with the hemi.
  7. I bought a Tundra after 3 sets of tires going to my 4th set on my 14 Silverado. I love it...... Especially since gas is less than 2 bucks. But even if it wasn't I'm loving not having issues or recalls with my truck. Had a Ram before I bought my Silverado and Transmission went out after 3000 miles. I dared not give Ford a chance. I'm happy for those owners with no issues....just not my experience. Good luck!
  8. They are having the same shaking issue with the tahoe suburban Yukon Yukon XL and escalade. It's a design issue and people who got a bad product should be compensated. This is ridiculous. STILL!
  9. Not Toyotas claim on resale....but consumer reports and other editorials At this point I wanted something I knew would last..yes power train is the same....but it's proven....everyone else's is new and I didn't want to go thru the same crap on a brand new design...mechanically. As far as the design.....to each his own The new truck has Suttle differences....but they are recognizable...and I like the squared off look and new interior is first class. I knew it was a hog when I bought it ... But I'd rather spend money on gas going where I want to go vs going to the shop. Thanks for your comment. If no 15s would hv been on record having same vibration issues I probably would hv gone back with Chevy. ..but issue still present in some trucks Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  10. You're right.....but toyota tundra is best in resale for a reason. I buy american....but toyota is proven in power train ...... at least it's built in Texas! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  11. Keep your service records and get rid of it if you can. Why should we even have to have almost 400 pages of dialogue to convince gm there's a problem. Eventually they'll be sued for this...everyone here has had the same recourse and no resolution. I will get my money back one way or another for having to get rid of my truck. I'm enjoying my toyota but I bought Silverado because that's what I wanted. Good luck. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  12. I kept all service records and left. 4 times...no fix. I went to the Toyota dealership and got a Tundra...very disheartened but my truck was in the shop too much. I mean look at all the responses to this topic and still no fix. Good luck. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  13. Trade it and take a loss for now....save your records because eventually they will recall. Too many people with same issues. I feel I was totally forced to trade my vehicle....truck cost too much money to have to deal with vibrating ...... GM needs lesson on true customer service!
  14. This is not something I'm proud of.....more disgusted than anything. After 3 sets of tires and a set of wheels....my truck began having the same issue again ....70 plus speed and vibration. I refused to take it back.....looking at all the owners on this forum and no resolutions......the outcome for a fix seemed bleak and dismal at best. It seem some people are happy with their trucks and that's great ... just not my testimony. I saw owners with 2015 models having the same issues and the service e departments doing the same recourse as what I experienced.....change tires several times......road force balance and pretend there is not an issue. I know Chevy to be a good brand (bought my wife a brand new impala Ltz last year too)....but I refused to give them another shot. After 3 sets of tires a set of wheels and 2 other issues ( resolved ones) and 11k miles.....I got rid of my Silverado and got a Tundra. For 45 grand I expect something reliable and my truck just didn't show that to me. Very disappointing especially since I spent over 2500 dollars in accessories for my truck. Truly liked the vehicle. ...hated the issues! Good luck....I kept every service record for when they do recall the truck...I felt like I was forced to get rid of it since in my opinion....they never could fix it.
