I got a call today my condenser is in only waited about 6 days..... not sure if its GM or aftermarket though

Ok i looked my driver side condenser is wet. I rarely use ac. Dealer dident even look just oredered me a new condenser. Ac isent horrid yet so hopefully it holds for summer. Said no aftermarket parts avail now here in MI. so now the wait.

Nice job. Though i personally like the 14/15 front end much more...... i want to buy a 15 blackout grill and bumpers and paint them blue

Fyi all i ordered the usb cable to remove the glove box usb to feed the console. Delco pn 19303284 from rock auto. First they sent me the wrong one with a brown and black end (proper pn on bag and cable). I returned it and explained i needed the one shown in the picture green and grey. They sent me the proper one but has the same PN as the wrong one...... so the diff cables share the same number. Send yours back for a exchange.

Great i took a few hours today and put my junkyard console in. Your all right once you get both harnesses out, look at them you can see where to splice them together. I soldered and shrink tubed all my connections. Only thing is i am waiting on a usb cable #19303284 from the glove box usb to console USBs. Was pretty strait foward. Looks sooooooo much better the way it should have. Thanks go Slatemetal15 for the Pm help

Ok someone posted a junk yard search link. I looked up a console and found LKQ/Keystone in Wayne MI close to my work. Got a near complete black console with the z71 reverse hounds tooth trim for $137 otd mint. Missing the front dash bracket and cupholder piece. Can you get the cupholder seperate? They said they would find them for me cheap. Smells like a fruity airfreshner but ill clean it.

Great mine is a March 2015 build. No AC muffler, no bracket. Im going to see if i can get it in for a few small things. If not ill just buy the bracket and install myself. I need to try my AC been noce havent used it since August AC bracket, tailgate drops fast, driver seat cover bolster wear and airbag reprogram.

Ok so i pulled the upper driver side hose (lower clamp was facing up no way to get a vice grip on it) it is all connected by a Tee any way. I pushed the hose down lower then the radiator and ensured no kinks. Was able to get 1.5 gallons out that way.

Is their a drain plug in the 2014+ 5.3l radiator? Or do we just pull the hose on the pass side rad? How many gallons for a basic drain and fill?

Same here with the 4600 rears i put on yesterday. A little softer on hard turns but bumps and general driving the tuck is much much better. Debating if i need to swap the fronts.

My 4600 rears are on their way. Waiting for the fronts till i have more $. My rear stock ranchos have really gotten bad at 31,000 miles. Any tips on swapping the fronts or do we need to hire a shop to press them?

I tourqed my factory u bolts to 70lbs last night (were about 40) drove on a 1 week old brand new concrete freeway I 275 SB here in Michigan. It is 80% better instead of 70 to 85mph its around 75 to 79 and reduced quite a bit in intensity. When i got to work i tourqued them to 80lbs. Lets see if i have more change.

My vibes were good after visit 3 and who knows how many tires and RFB. Yesterday i got new Cooper ATP 275/65 18 and a slight but not as bad as the initial GY SRAs. Will hit a discount tire w a Hunter and get it ironed out asap

So finally GM cust care called back about the GY SRA vs AT tires. Got a load of BS, im dumbfounded. Said the $150 AT tire upcharge was for the 18" rims because i have the all star package? And all RPO codes are appropriate and got was i an supposed to. My response then was I have a z71 and that automaticly has the z71 specific 18" rims. She pulled a duurrrr well thats what the district manager and the truck rep said is correct so we wont be swapping or refunding anything. Then i looked in my sticker and i paid $1890 for the all star with the 18s the z71 i believe includes the specific 18s and i paid $150 for AT tires that i dont have. She also said GY has SRAs listed as all season and all terrain so their all terrain. I explained that they can only be one or the other and got another duuuuur well it says AT so it is.

Chevy. 5.3 CC Short bed 4x4 z71 3.08 6 speed. It was a 70mph+ 98% fixed by multiple sets of tires and RF balancing. Now i only notice a tiny tiny vibe after long 80mph drives. I have to be looking for it and even then it may be road noise.....

Im happy, found a set of Westin Sure grip boards in black for $75.00 with mounting hardware not the sexiest looking set but functional for my 5'1 wife and 5 year old, and very functional for our non existent budget! One side was new in plastic apparently it was warrantied due to finish issues and the other has a tiny scuff. Will try and get pics after I get it on later today. Well mine seems to be gone after roadforceing the 3d time and who knows how many tires...... on a long 4 hr 85mph drove a tiny teensy vibe may have been their but i also may have been fooling myself hard to confirm. But still the issue where GM is still not looking at reason with the SRAs being all season but me paying for AT tires. The whole world knows they arent AT except GM. They say whats factory is right 100% of the time and their is no error possible.

Are the soft GM tri folds decent? can get a slightly used one for $200. New is $450 or so. Or should I wait for a extang or American Tonneau? PN# 23462055
