  1. I gave my dealer a similar report and they wouldn't do anything past rfb the tires and pico scope. Pico was within spec so they wouldn't do anything else on the bulletin.
  2. What process did you have to go through to get that kind of work approved? Both dealers I've dealt with have replaced tires and rfb'd them but state they wont do anything else because the truck is "within spec" and can't get approval for any other work.... grrrr.
  3. I did. Noise was still there. Tried multiple windows. Still there.
  4. Got the whistle noise yesterday. Windy day in north Texas. I was going about 70-75 and the winds were a crosswind. Mainly the passenger side but I did hear the driver side whistle once or twice. I'm wondering if this is due at all to the avs aeroskin I put on last week? I'm gonna wait to see if it happens again before I get the dealer involved. Such an annoying sound.
  5. Nice brand choice. My Sundown has been the best sub I've ever had.
  6. Did you just to a speaker swap or did you run a new amplifier setup as well?
  7. AVS Aeroskin. So sad how many paint chips I have and it's not even a year old. Be careful with the install. I cracked part of it trying to realign it.
  8. Been on a light kick recently. Installed the footwell lighting as well as some aux reverse lights. I wired up the reverse lights to an on/off/on switch I put in one of the cigarette lighter sockets. They come on automatically with the reverse lights or by the switch when I need them without going into reverse. More info in my build thread.
  9. Got mine back last week from 3rd visit (second dealer). Tech did the PICO and determined it's "in spec". He can't do any work that GM wont refund him for. He admits there's a vibration but blamed it on the cheap stock SRA's. I'm gonna keep playing with the clamp location and maybe try some different tire pressures to see what combo I can live with.
  10. Those vibrate too. I guess I just feel it the most in the steering wheel. My vibration is a subtle one. Doesn't shake the coffee out of my cup but it is noticeable/annoying.
  11. I've tried the clamps in front and behind the axle. No improvement with them behind. The front changed the vibration but didn't get rid of it all together (I have the steering vibration). I have an appointment with a different dealership in two weeks to drop it off. Reasoning behind the wait is they said they are expecting a new tool from GM to help track down vibrations. They said it's a 3 way pico that shows horizontal and vertical axis to pinpoint what's vibrating vs an older system that only showed them one plane. I'll use the time in between to play with the clamps in different spots as well as changing up the tire pressures a bit.
  12. Well I still have a vibration after visit #3. Visit 1 and 2 focused mainly on the tires. RF and replaced two of the stock crap SRAs. Visit 3 they hooked up a PICO scope so they say. They say it's smooth. Bullshit. I have a constant subtle vibration above 60 that I can feel in the steering wheel, center console and my seat on occasion. I asked to speak with the tech but he was "in a meeting". Service writer said that it's road feedback amplified by my level kit. More bullshit. What's the experience folks are having with this issue in Texas? If I take it to a different dealer for visit #4 will that qualify for me to start the buyback/BBB process? I really, REALLY love this truck but it's a love/hate relationship when I realize I'm paying for a $38,000 maraca...
  13. What offset are those wheels? Truck looks sharp bud.
  14. Relaxing Thanksgiving weekend at the farm with the family.
  15. How hard was the bra to put on or did you have someone install it for you? I have some paint chips as well but very small. Don't notice unless I'm detailing the truck. Latest pic. Doesn't have the level that I put on today.
  16. 2" Motofab billet spacer level. Front fender before was at 36". After they sit at 38.5. Exactly what I wanted. More pics/info in my build thread! Build thread link down there! \/

  18. Washed, clayed and waxed. Such a pretty day here in Texas had to go get a good photo.... and then a bird shit on it within an hour. I swear he was watching me all morning then did it when I went in for lunch... The feel of the paint/clear coat after a good wash/clay is almost as good as sex... almost.
  19. Curious... does your lift/tire combo allow you to make it over that obstacle or would you still get high centered? Looking good!
  20. Saw it too. Some said it's a '16 clip front on a '15 truck.
  21. Do you work for some sort of emergency service?
  22. Installed Airraid MIT. Satisfied with the look of the cleaner bay. The plastic clips that came with it to secure the tubes are a little weak. I'll be replacing them with the metal screw clamps eventually.
