  1. Check the ground wire going to the low beam plug.
  2. Okay. Just figured you put 8.5 in since you said it had a 8.5 capacity.
  3. Well you over filled. To my knowledge they changed the capacity to 8.0 quarts some time ago. Came out with a bulletin saying 8.5 was to much. Google would be your friend in finding this information quickly.
  4. I'll say with 99% certainty that you had HID's in your LT. I really don't think they even offer LED's for Chevrolet until you hit the LTZ trim.
  5. Just finished my cluster swap from a SLT to a Denali cluster. Bought one off ebay and shipped it to Chris. Got it back today and got it installed. Install is very easy. Total of seven 7MM bolts and a few pieces to pull on. Took a few pictures. Easy upgrade thanks to the programming! Picture of the trim around the cluster. More pictures of it on and running later.
  6. I am waiting for my Denali cluster to come back from Chris and I will have a SLT cluster sitting around soon.
  7. Been in contact with him all week. Just ordered my cluster which will be here Monday. Then I'll send it off to be programmed.
  8. Nice job! Any details on cost? Any pictures or pointers for install?
  9. You would think that but I used to own a 2013+ Ram 1500. The Ram trucks don't even have DRL here in the states unless activated by the dealer. That being said the Ram trucks use PWM and require the use of a capacitor link or error eliminators to run HID's and such. So it's not that big of a surprise that the SLT Sierra uses it as well. Can't really explain why except it's how they designed the PCM to run the truck.
  10. You have it narrowed down to simple stuff now. A capacitor link will clean the signal and a switch back setup will give us the desired effect with the DRL.
  11. I just saw the pictures of that Silverado. What plugs did you order? I think it will work. I bet these have controllers inside...could be wrong but like you said we won't know till you hook it up.
  12. I am talking for the Sierra SLT with 2015 headlights. From the factory the running light does not turn off when you throw on a turn signal. Now if the newer 2016 headlights have a controller along with their driver then that would explain it. I haven't seen inside of the newer 16 headlights but I would be impressed if they had individual controllers.
  13. Ideally nothing should happen. You will regain control of the running lights IE they will turn off if you move your headlight switch to the off position where as I am sure they can't be turned off at all right now. I'm sure you know they won't turn off with the turn signal as the 14-15 SLT running lights stay on all the time.
  14. I second Diode Dynamics, running their kit without issue.
  15. Here for info. Really wish I had LKQ connections!
