    You can insist all you want but it GM doesn't approve a replacement then you wont get one.

    They always act concerned at first and will act like they haven't heard of this problem. Soon enough they wont be calling you back and will make getting your truck fixed a nightmare. My brakes went out a few weeks ago backing out of a parking spot. With no trouble codes the deal said they cant do much. Its not like were talking about noises or minor issues. The effen brakes stoped working.

    That noise is normal most of these trucks do that. my 16 and my 19 do. My noise is more of a loud knocking for the first 10 mins of cold start up

    100%. Gm has not done right by their customers and now its really starting to show. Contact a lemon lawyer asap and get the ball rolling.

    My 16 did it and so does my 19. that noise is normal. Dealer is going to tell you the same thing. In the 14-18 forums there were TONS of topics on this same noise.

    Last time I checked losing brake while drive is pretty damn terrifying. I'm lucky I was only backing out of a parking spot

    I would but I know the dealer cant do much with out any error codes. Sucks because now I don't trust the truck when I get in a drive it.

    Same shit happened to me with my motor knock. I would never get calls back. They said they wanted to send a field engineer and then they didn't want to send a field engineer. It was a cluster ****.

    Yup pretty much. And they said they cant reset my brake pad wear % because it will default back to 100% and I have 11k for miles on the truck. They had no concern that my brakes stopped working. What a joke

    Did the motor get starved of oil while you were driving?

    dropped it off at the dealer and when I got there they didn't want to look at it because they brakes were working fine. I had to plead with them to look at it.

    almost at 12k 3 dealership visits for my engine knocking noise. about 4 weeks total out of service.. still knocks. sounds like its going blow up on cold start. 1 dealer visit to have the frame coating redone because the frame already had rust spots after 900 miles 1 dealer visit for flashing check engine light. 1 week out of service. Going back in tomorrow because my brakes randomly didn't work last night backing out of a parking spot at the grocery store.

    I had my first brake hiccup last night. I was backing out of a parking spot last night and almost hit another parked car because the brakes barely worked. Only issue is that when it happened it doesn't seem to have set a fault code. Anyone else have brake issues with no fault? I bring the truck in tomorrow and I'm worried I am going to get the "cant duplicate" run around.

    You think you won BUT they are raping you on usage charges. At how many miles did your truck start to make the noise?

    BBB is useless go lemon law.

    He went through 4 different sets and they all shook. His issue is a truck problem not a tire issue. I am also starting to have the same shake issue with my stock duratracs.

    Let us know how you make out. There have been a few people that actually got the dealer to replace the lifters but it didn't fix the noise.

    I haven't really tried any additive. Just another reason for them to void the warranty if something happens.

    I have the same vibration just not as bad as his. started at around 8k miles. Before that it was smooth as silk. I have a feeling this problem is going to show up way more once people start racking up miles.
