  1. I said the same thing about the pricing. I have actually sourced out the connectors, pins, wiring, resistors and tools. When you add all that up and the time it'll take to crimp it all, their pricing is not that far off. Just in materials, it was about $30 or so. Crimp tool is about $25. I think they have their PnP harness (for 2016) for like $79.99. I don't have any info on a flasher relay. Want it as Factory as I possible. Resistors are 50W 6 ohm - you only need 1 for each side (unless you are 2014-2015) and think you'll need (1) for each turn signal. - CUTEQUEEN TRADING 4pcs 50W 6Ohm LED Load Resistors for LED Turn Signal Lights or LED License Plate Lights or DRL (Fix Hyper Flash, Warning Cancellor) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DCULNXS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_DWIjGcZje4Zmn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The hyperflash is how you are alerted of a "bulb outage" and is based on the power draw. Since LED draw less power than the stock incandescents, the only way to correct that is with resistors. This is controlled by the BCM and no harness without resistors will fix that. You can - get your BCM custom flashed by GTPrix to have the LTZ/SLT "profile" to correct this, but there will be a cost for that and some downtime as you would have to send your BCM in for the flash. It basically changes the BCM's logic in knowing you have have LED lights and therefore seeing the lower power draw as "normal" I have upgraded both head lights and tail lights on my 2016 LT Silverado and tried many times. Resistors are the only way. Gen5DIY makes a Plug and Play Harness with the resistors inline so there is no cutting/splicing into your factory harnesses. Check them out online. 3. Thanks Jesus953555! Glad to see/here another success story! I do have another Custom DL8 Harness set ready to go. Let me know if you have questions about upgrading to DL3 Mirrors or Towing Mirrors. I can make it truly Plug and Play for you. I also make them for Towing Mirrors if interested. 4. Took my boys shooting yesterday (been a LONG time). The outdoor range was very muddy! Mud sloshed all over the running boards. Guess I gotta get and add Husky mud guards to the list [emoji51]. Will be washing mine after the nasty California rain passes through Texas tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Additional harnesses back in stock! If you need a custom Plug and Play for either upgrading your Standard DL8 Mirrors to DL3 Mirrors or to Towing Mirrors, let me know. I can fix ya up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I thought about that but it seemed that removing the bracket was going to a PITA as well. After looking at the bumper components, it looked like some of the components were slightly bigger overall too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. How about a "What have you NOT done to your K2 today?" [emoji23] So I bought a rear bumper for my 2016 - 1500 truck and thought all rear bumpers are the same?! NOT! I bought one off a 2015 Sierra 2500. After 3 fun hours of figuring out and successfully removing my bumper, transferring the Park assist sensors... it didn't fit! LOL. The support bracket is slightly bigger on the 2500 bumper. The overall bumper components are slightly different. I wonder if it's because it's from a Sierra or the fact that it's from a 2500. 8. I have another set of Custom Harnesses for DL3 Mirrors ready to ship! PM me for more info or ask here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Does your current mirror have the Turn Signal, Cargo Lamp, and Park Lamps already operational? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Was able to find Black Factory Running Boards locally for $120! Self installed. Had to run by the dealer for some nutserts. They gave me a handful for free. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I need to access to a module that is apparently behind the back seat as well. Haven't looked into it yet though... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. You got me looking into this now. [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Oh wait - you already have (Non-Folding) Towing Mirrors and all you want to do is upgrade to Power Folding Towing Mirrors? If so, all you would need is the Power Folding switch. The Fold circuits should already be pinned in your harness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hey there. I have helped several LT 2500HD members. I would need a picture of your door connector. Fairly certain you'll have what you need for a successful swap. Mostly 2014 and early 2015 had trouble as the connector in the door hinge (body side) was the culprit for not having the pins loaded - this requiring the RZY Harness. If you open the Driver Door. You'll see this boot/connector. Remove this connector. I don't need a picture of the connector itself but would need to see its mate. With the connector removed, use your phone and try to take a couple of shots (might need more than one to capture all the pins) that show the pins. Here is what it would look like: These are the pins we are looking for: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. More pics for ya. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. This is the body side. The connector removed is what connects to the various seat components. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I have several photos of the main harness connector if this helps. There would be several variants of what plugs into this connector and the various pigtails from it to the seat components. I was looking for a convenient dome lamp circuits which shows to be in the connector but not present in mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. That is a nice looking truck indeed. I have no idea what I'm looking for or know what Aeroskin is. LOL. Guess I have to google that one. [emoji51] Ok googled it. I see it now, but barely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I had this issue once and found my kids were not shutting their door all the way. I was going to say to check the DIC Options for the horn feedback but if it's intermittent, that's probably not the issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. If I had to guess, the Lane Departure camera and wiring would be separate from the rear view mirror only because I've looked at the mirror connector detail and there are no circuits for the Lane Departure system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Off topic... But I found a member today that lives 1-2 minutes away. LOL. Literally, right down the street from me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. A couple of times, I had one mirror fold and not the other. LOL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Well.. my truck is an LT. The factory mirror that came with my truck was non-auto dimming. However, I swapped it for the auto dimming mirror shown in the picture. Still not sure what direction I want to take yet as the frameless mirror is a little smaller than the framed one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
