Unfortunately it does happen. Has your neighbor changed anything on his truck since he bought it? I want to try and replace the SRA tires with Michelins, doubtful it will help though.
They come down the same assembly line with the same parts coming in from other vendors. Im not sure how some have shakers and others dont? Guess I just have bad luck...
Exactly. Best looking pickups on the road these day, imo. All I want is to have it fixed, or at least have the fix leaked to the public so I may have the opportunity to fix it myself.
I strongly feel the road type plays a significant role. I'm no highway paving expert, but there are many different types of roads in my area, the concrete looking section of highway seems the smoothest.
Issue has been present for 3 years now. How gm has not put out a fix for this yet...
I'm aware all the manufacturers have there issues, but I'm a GM owner and want to be. Just want a truck that gets repaired when needed.
Pathetic GM
Uneven torquing of u - bolt nuts from factory causing vibes? Doubt it, just trying to figure the vibe issue out on my own...don't want the dealership making it worse.
Where do you feel the shakes most, seat, steering wheel, or console? I have a 17 that shakes occasionally too.
Sorry if you've already mentioned it elsewhere.
