Hi there! I recently got a 2003 Silverado LT, 5.3 Z71. I am planning on getting a travel trailer and would like bigger mirrors. Can this truck support OEM mirrors from the 2500 or other? I have read that aftermarket ones shake so looking for a decent quality approach. Thank you!

I am wondering how that works out letter I got doesn't have any specifics yet, still waiting on agent to contact me etc. But mentions I have to work with lender to substitute payment if I do a replacement? I would be eyeing a new 2022 if I do the replacement but would have to wind up with cheaper monthly payments ha

Hi all, After several issues with my mylink system and yadda yadda, GM has reached out and sent me a letter talking about "Replacement" or "Repurchase" and I was wondering if anyone that has gone through this could share any tips on which option is better and what to look out for? My truck is a 2017 Z71, 5.3. About 58,000 miles. I still own $19,000 on it to the bank. Thank you.

Hi all, my 2017 Z71 has been having issue for a while now and getting worse. CarPlay will just put calls on hold randomly, sometimes calls go to hold over Bluetooth even. Sometimes the screen stops being responsive to touch and I have to use the menu knob. Something’s it randomly changes screens, opens settings, tries to adjust the clock, like it’s possessed. I have it at a dealership right now getting the 50k service and asked them to look into it and he called and said nothing. Can’t find any issues. I explained again and he said he would relay to the tech… I am not confident and unsure what to even ask. any input or advice would be super helpful. Thank you much.

I keep getting a notice “application failed to install” when I start truck. So I went to look for updating software I thought it was supposed to be over the air? truck is 2017, google has videos of people with a software update button in settings but mine just says “save data to usb”?? Anyone know what’s up here? Thank you!

Anyone happen to have or know where to get the factory alignment specs for a 2017 Z71 crew cab short box? I have had a slight pull to right for a while, put new tires on few weeks ago and got it aligned but I think they did a crummy job aligning just barely getting it into green and it still pulls right, almost worse. I just wanted to compare to factory before I took it back.

I have the GM intake kit for my ‘17 Silverado part number 84016022 and I don’t recall instructions for the filter. The dry cone filter is part number 23231630 can it be cleaned or does it need to be replaced every so often? If cleaned, what is best way to do it? thank you much.

Didn't like where my phone mounted, blocked part of screen and bleh. Wanted it on left out of way. So I ordered the part bezel for the integrated trailer harness so there was more "meat" and not a big hole. Then drilled the base plate of phone mount to it and ran USB cable behind to connect to glove box. Used a USB repeater to get length, only problem is apple CarPlay won't recognize it :/ so I may end up unplugging USB port clip from glove box and trying to reach it directly.
