  1. Anyone else thing this gap is too big between the HUD and dash?
  2. For being a 100k truck. I am not impressed with the inside shiny plastic trim, interior with white stripes, and a manual adjustable steering wheel that’s travel distance is still far too short.
  3. 2nd time winner of the Leak. First repair lasted one year
  4. Joining the brake squeal club. The sounds reminds me of the woowoo Whistler! Good thing is , the noise gets ppl up like an alarm clock !
  5. So I had my local dealer install the GM accessory cam. I think they mounted it in the wrong place. Thoughts?
  6. Those badges look awesome!!!!! I plasti dipped my 2014 Denali badges black. The only issue I had was the front would chip and flake from rock strikes. So I would touch it up every couple months. Anyone have suggestions on making the front panted emblems more durable?
  7. Thank you for responding. I took some pics for you. Appears to be a rough country product. Does this put me at risk with all of the control arm / joint failures others are having?
  8. Only reason I’m concerned is the truck came with 285/65 20s. So I was worried there was a level the dealer added to do so.
  9. I’m not a mechanic. Bought my truck new off the lot as it sits today. Can anyone look at my angles and tell me if I’m driving around a ticking time bomb? If so I’m going to get my suspension fixed.
  10. So is the general consensus to not level these trucks?
  11. Joining the club of a leaking rear window. From what I’ve read this issue is hard to resolve. Anyone ever try and site Lemon Law to their dealer? My truck only has 8k miles. Hate the thought of this window allowing water inside for the life of the truck
  12. Good insight. I just don’t want to repeat my last mistake with an exhaust that was too loud
  13. Any one have any decibel readings inside the cab at highway speeds? I went thru a headache with my 2014 and a borla s type being too loud. How's the loudness with towing?
  14. I'm thinking a simple rocker switch would be perfect. Can you think of any good waterproof switch options? Do you happen to know what gauge those wires are? I found waterproof self splicing caps that are good for 22-14g wire.
  15. I wonder if we can just make our own switch? I like the manual idea. But I would like a more clear on off indicator, plus I do not trust that their adhesive will hold it in all weather conditions. I'm thinking I could tuck it up under the bumper....
  16. Greetings all, I've been reading all the lift / lvl threads I can these days. Here is what I can contribute... I bought my truck brand new off a dealer with 285 65 20s installed. I asked the service rep at the dealer what did they do to the truck since that wasn't stock. Said they added a spacer up front. I asked about an problem with wear and tear or warranty issues he said nope. Makes me wonder if a dealer is willing to install suspension mods on every single one of their AT4s just how much premature wear and tear can be expected? The truck is under warranty and I can't imagine a dealer would compromise these trucks to the point they are going to have a slue of folks showing back up to their service department needing all new front end suspensions. I'm currently deoyed, so I can't take and measuments for a bit. But I am more and willing to do so when I get back home. I do remember measuring the height distant from the ground to the body and the rear was under and inch taller. I'm no mechanic. If there are issues with these mods, where should I inspect or be on the look out for?
  17. NITTO Ridge grapplers
  18. I bought the truck new from the dealer with 285 65 20s on it. Not sure what parts they used but the service rep told me they used a spacer up front. I measured the front and rear heights one time. If my memory recalls there is about and more height in the rear. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know what that translates too. Here is a pic.
  19. I'm running 285 65 20s so far so good. Plus one for the grapplers. I have not had them in the snow yet. I have used KO2 in the past I liked that tire, but at 45k miles they got really loud.
  20. I kept stock wheels. Running 285 65 20 just fine. The shop added a spacer up front.
