  1. Damn! My powder coat shop does them for $50 a piece! Black is cheap and they run it the most often so they just throw them in with another run of black. $750?...sheesh! Does that include Vaseline?
  2. I'd love one but they are backordered for 12+ weeks everywhere I've looked. ? Damn COVID.
  3. Yes, I think chrome makes a truck look "premium" or "upscale", especially on a white or black truck. I agree that painted front-ends look like total ****** after just a few months of driving. I owned one once upon a time and it looked like crap to the point I was embarrassed to drive it. No way I would own one now without wrapping it in XPEL before getting it home from the dealer.
  4. Icon coilovers are 12+ weeks out everywhere I've checked. I was going to wait to install my UCAs at the same time, but I'm moving ahead with installing the Delta Joint UCAs tomorrow paired with the Bilstein 6112s. I won't get the advantage of additional droop, but the weak-ass balljoint will be gone!
  5. These 6112 springs say "Bilstein" on them but they may be made for Bilstein by Eibach...who knows. They are maxed at 1.2" and I'm only about 1/4" shy of level....I can live with that as it's not noticeable.
  6. Yep, I've run across all kinds of ignoranance and misinformation on the lifts for regular trucks vs. TB/AT4. It will ALL bolt up just fine....but like you said, it may not level it and you have to be smart enough not to overlift in the case of adjustable struts/coilovers. I put a set of 6112s for a Trailboss/AT4 on my LTZ and set them to the max 1.2" lift to get it close to level with the 2" blocks in the rear. Icon delta joint UCAs just came in today and they go on tomorrow for upper balljoint peace of mind. I *may* get some Icon coilovers in the future and I'll be ready.
  7. Looks great. What is your height from the ground to the top of the sharkfin antenna? I'm trying to make sure it will still fit in my garage!
  8. Why would you not get the calibrations? They are included in the cost of the kit.
  9. Just what it says, it calibrates the electronic power steering to compensate for the higher ride height. It is not tire-specific. They also perform a calibration on the forward-facing camera.
  10. A little on the high end of the labor range I've seen, but not bad.
  11. They spent all their money on 14" wide wheels that they stretch way too narrow tires onto and can't afford the extra $100 for blocks to raise the back-end up.
  12. Installed Bilstein 6112s so don't need leveling kit any more. Retail is $129.95, asking $75 shipped. ***SOLD***
  13. Looks just like it did before! Front is 1/4" lower than the back.
  14. Bilstein likely won't release a resi front since the 6112s already contain so much due to their larger diameter. Bilstein themselves recommended the 6112/5160 setup and it's great!
  15. Put the Bilstein 5160s and 6112s on. Should have done this long ago - very pleased with them!
  16. Camburgs are great....the uniball is just not preferred for daily drivers due to having to replace it every 4 or 5 oil changes. There is no boot to protect it from dirt and water and the cap they sell only covers the top while leaving the bottom wide open. I think Icon's delta joint is best of both worlds.
  17. @kpromero There is no 2" leveling kit for AT4 that I'm aware of. Which kit did you have installed?
  18. Zone makes a 2" leveling kit for Trailboss?
  19. Bilstein is one of the most respected companies in shocks/struts - I trust them. I spoke to one of their engineers who was part of the R&D on the new 6112 kit for the TB/AT4. They are very proud of their kit and he said they did meticulous testing to determine the maximum lift offered (1.2") is still within the stock suspension "envelope". He specifically said they designed the kit and limited the lift to 1.2" max for the sole purpose of not having to add any other parts to the truck. He said it is a 100% complete bolt-on kit and the ball joints/CVs will be "happy". I'm good with his answers. I'm putting the 5160s on the rear tonight and I'll let the shop install the 6112s on the front next week when they arrive.
