    Thanks man. I am hoping that means I won't have some of the issues I have heard of with the DFM engines! The last few cars I have owned have taken me well over 200K worry free miles, and my current daily driver is a 2002 Honda Accord with 300k! Tires, brakes, oil changes.... let's ROLL!!

    Just picked up my '21 last night! Cherry Red Crew Cab RST Z71, 5.3 with DFM delete, and bucket seats/center console. My first vehicle ever purchased brand new, so this is me for the next 10 years! Ahh that new ca...TRUCK smell! I might look at a bed cover and leveling kit soon. So, nobody told me about the dim interior lights haha!!

    We had a pretty big thunderstorm last night, so I really couldn't get any pics. This is a quick shot I took this morning. I didn't even realize they changed from the Cajun Red to this Cherry Red for '21.

    Well, after shopping around for the past few weeks, I was able to purchase a '21 Cherry Red Crew cab RST with the Z71 pkg. I just picked it up today.

    Thanks for all the replies/advice everyone. At this point, I probably will just wait to see how this all turns out. I am really curious how they will rollout the 2022s, and how that will impact the remaining unsold 2021 inventory. If I just HAPPEN upon a decent deal, I will jump on it, but otherwise, I am thankfully not in any rush to purchase. I have to figure that everything will normalize eventually, if not by the end of this year, then early '22.

    What's up folks!! For the first time in my life, I am finally in a good position to purchase a brand new vehicle, and I have been eyeing the 2019-2021 Silverado's for quite awhile, in fact, ever since they came out. I am looking to buy a nice Crew Cab RST in the next few months, but I see the selection has really dwindled down since the last time I was actually looking online before the pandemic! Is it really that bad right now? I want a Crew cab, 5.3 Liter, with the center console and 20 inch wheels. Z71, 4wd, even Max trailer pkg would be nice, but not necessary. I was hoping to stay in the low to mid 40s.... is that just unrealistic at this point? I have been trying to read back within the thread to get caught up on the current state of inventory, and it sounds like folks have been waiting MONTHS for trucks they ordered to be delivered, which tells me, dealer inventory on the lot is scarce.
