  1. Just wondering..... Is the rear seat from a 2014-2018 fit? They did not have the storage, but still had the center flip down armrest/ cupholders. Might be an option if the pinstripes are the same with the dark grey leather.... Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  2. 6-12 weeks is very common it seems, unless something is on constraints. Mine was not normal at all.....[emoji1787] I guess something was on constraints when mine was being built. I ordered in March and it still wasn't here in June. Dealer kept checking too with no luck. They ordered the next model year in June. I kept checking online and both model years got accepted into the system to be built but nothing progressed until July. but only the new model year went down the assembly line. Not the original, it never moved out of being accepted! It got delivered on August 1st as the next model year.... It sat in a shipping yard for 2 weeks in July, As they couldn't bring it to the dealership because of it being the new model year..... Long crazy wait, but it was kinda cool having the first one of that model year.... Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  3. Any updates, was the tech bulletins from rst helpful? Just curious. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  4. In my opinion the jump seat is to small for an adult to be comfortable for any length of time, not to mention you would be shoulder to shoulder with that person. That leaves a kid or a pet..... Kids shouldn't be in the front with an air bag.... So console it is for me with lots more shoulder room, and no adults sitting next to me! They other people can drive their own car if there is that many people going to the same place, I don't need to be their chauffeur. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for the info! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  6. Extended cabs are rarely comfortable. When the kids are little they are in car seats, and they don't fit well in the back, and by the time they get out of the car seats it's only a few years before they are too big. And forget about an adult riding back there for any length of time..... But if it's just 2 of you up front and are using the back seat for storage, then it's great. 7. I like the looks of the Chevy better ( personal opinion) 10speed tranny is better though.. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  8. Ohh..... Beyond my experience. I'll be watching to see what you find, hopefully others will have the answer! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  9. It's flashing your clearance lights and taillights. I would guess a wiring issue? Have you tried a test light on the back of your truck to make sure that it's right? If so, than it's on the trailer side of things. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks! Great news with that information! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Great to know! Thanks! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  12. Is the 2 speed still standard on a max tow package if you get the 6.2? I thought I had read the 2 speed wasn't available on the max tow package at all, but they didn't say anything about engine options making a difference? Just wondering if it makes a difference which engine with that package? I haven't traded my 2017 yet partially because of this. I currently run the 6.2 with the max tow, And while I don't use 4 low very often, there are a few times that I have wanted it for the heavy load on soft grounds. I don't even know why they would take the two speed away from the max tow package even in the smaller engines, makes no sense to me. If anything you would think you take 4 low away from the street versions trucks, that never pull anything or go off-road Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  13. Agree! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Why do people even show their 25 mile distance display.... It's not even close to a real number in reality! Show me 100 miles or more. Any one can "coast" the truck for 25-50 miles to have a mpg number that looks good, but isn't real world driving. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Super smart people... But yet common sense stupid..... I work at a university and see it everyday, we call them the absent minded professors. Sorry your friends died. But I see things quit differently.... If you have a key you are pulling it out, no forgetting it then. Talk to any real blue collar worker they will disagree with you, unfortunately, you are absolutely correct that we are there minority. Yet, we are also the original truck buyers and owners!! Simple solutions for both sides would be to put in an override or disable options.... Easy peezy! Bitching and moaning minimized for both sides. Unfortunately those of us that need a truck have to pay for these nano gadgets that we don't even want. No need to complicate things it's called k.i.s.s. Keep it simple stupid. Have a great weekend, thanks for your "majority" input while the rest of us suffer with the lack of working designs, for working people. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  16. Sounds like the right fix is that they should just go back to a true key system! Those that want the vehicle to run will run those that don't turn them off pretty simple. I don't know why things need to be complicated. f*** this auto stop and push button b******* and traction control (when I turn it off I want it off.. I don't want it to come back on at 35 mph wheel spin) save us all some money. some of us actually know how to drive and use our vehicles the way that we want them used..... You do you and let us do us. You can let your vehicle run all day and do your jobs..... For everyone else who doesn't use their truck in this manner you might actually have to use your brain and remember how to turn it on and off and remove the key out of the ignition probably too hard for some.... Sorry for my rant but I'm just tired of the government And big brother imposing everything at a higher cost to us all And then all the sheep that defend them. It's amazing how and what we do to protect the stupid, And then when they still kill themselves the lawyers win a financial settlement in court for their families yet again costing us more. Smh Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Actually both. It protects from debris being tossed up on the side better then my 4" one did. I also find that the wider board is less slippery ( because of it having a bigger surface area to get more of my foot on) when snow covered than my 4" were. But I have slipped on the 6" also..... It's just an easier,/ more stable foothold in those conditions. (They both had the rubber grip on top when you step on them) Good luck with your decision. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  18. I like my 6" flat much better than my old round ones....I used to have round 4" ones on my suburban.... Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  19. I should probably do it for me too, lol Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  20. That would totally make sense, I would check into that being your problem too! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  21. Yes, there are several that are 75mph west of the Mississippi. Some are even 80mph....[emoji106] Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  22. I'm sure mine is still close to that hundred mark.... ( I don't remember exactly where it kicks out at) I was over 90mph last week with no problems. 2017 6.2 8 speed max tow with 44,000 miles. Not sure why yours has suddenly changed..... Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  23. That's what I thought. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  24. I thought I remembered reading some place that when you are in the tow haul mode, that you have to be in automatic not manual mode for the grade braking system to still work? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  25. Sorry, I disagree with you........ I tow several hundred miles when I tow, ( not just 25 to run to Menards or wherever lol) My driving is a lot of 75+ mph towing too. So I'll keep my weight distribution hitch, along with having the proper weight spread across all of my axels (vehicle and trailer) and not just trying to " balance the trailer" thank you. What you are doing with a cargo trailer( short trips and slow speed) I don't even considered that towing... Anyone can have an "unbalanced trailer" and get away with it for short distances and slow speeds..... I have also seen people that have their loads very poorly tied down too( bouncing around on the trailer), that seem to get lucky by not having it completely fall off.... Some people are just lucky! Over 30 years towing much bigger trailers and heavier loads and faster speeds. Please be safe Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
