They know about the blackout screen they don't know how to fix it. My 22 LTD High Country had this issue and that was one of the reasons I dumped it for a 23 High Country.

I would have dumped it after the oil pump failure. As far as the trans, did it see regular service intervals? Leave the fluid in there too long is recipe for failure.

The sweet spot is 55- 58 mph. I get over 20 constantly with my 23 High Country 6.2. I don't go on freeways if I don't have to though.

I think 4banger is still trying to justify his 2.7 purchase. The difference between a 2.7 and a 6.2 is much more than he thinks. I'm talking 0 to 100 mph. The 6.2 is barely breathing at 100. I've had my 23 High Country 6.2 up to the speed limiter at 112 a few times. It don't take very long to go go from 70 to 112 . 4 banger didnt do much research calling the 6.2 fat. The weight of a 6.2 is actually about 80 lbs lighter than a cast iron block 5.3. All 6.2s are aluminum block. 5.3s can be aluminum block also but most are cast iron. I also didn't buy the 6.2 to save gas.

What has the best sound quality?

I use youtube music mostly. Sometimes xmsirius. I don't have Spotify or any of those type except iheart. I'm wondering what would be the best for sound quality. YouTube music is OK but I'm thinking something is better. Even FM radio sounds better imo. Enlighten me.

I have a 22 LTZ ltd. I also have a 23 High Country 6.2. When I get in the 22 after driving the 23 all day , It feels like going back in time to the 14 -18 chevys. Glad my wife drives the 22, she could care less. I'd get the new Chevy.

What ohm are they?

I haven't installed anything yet but I just ordered the GM Kicker setup and got it in three days. You are correct. The phone uses these speakers and it would sound like crap. I didn't realize this until after I ordered them . I got some Audio Control 2 3/4" midrange to use instead. These are 3 ohms. Close to the 3.3 ohm stock bose. A question i have is I'm wondering if I can splice into the dash wires and mount the tweeters in the A pillar like the older Chevys and have a midrange 2 3/4" and the 1" tweeter run off the same wires. I also didn't want run a bunch of different brands of speakers but I wanted the ohms to be as close to possible. I probably won't get this stuff installed until after Christmas so I will post when I'm done.

I would look for a different car wash also. Those cloth brushes scratch the piss out of your truck. Touchless are best.
