  1. Find and clean all the ground straps you can find. I. The engine bay and I side.
  2. Very good. They are not covered in oil, so swap and ride out. Also may want to swap the wires and clean the inner connection of the coil as that is usually where the misfire can come from.
  3. My fan stopped after my transmission rebuild. Tried all the above from the fan stays running thread to no avail.
  4. Hey I really like the look of your truck. How is the ride? Like a brick, plush, better then the other lift struts that always get recommended? I'm looking for something that will ride smooth. Thanks
  5. Vacuum leak some where. Just a guess. Maybe intake gaskets.
  6. No problem. It's normal. If you actually had low oil pressure you would have engine failure. You'd notice alot of chattering in your engine It will be higher in the winter.
  7. Gm does not listen. If they did they would of brought back the Blazer, Chevelle, widened the silverado wheel wells and Crushed the entire market! Seriously.... Crushed.
  8. Your issue is not the convertor. It is the trans oil pump that is right behind the convertor. Sends less fluid throughout the trans. Burns the clutch packs.Time for a full rebuild. I'm in north Texas and can highly recommend my trans builder. Will cost you less the what the going rate is and be upgraded with new upgrade valves, thermostat bypass and so on. If you decide to come up this way let me know.

  10. Have you tried adjusting the pinion angle?
  11. Leave it be. Use this stuff when it needs some. My work truck leaks.
  12. You may have gotten oxygen/ non condensibles in the system when you charged it. Clean the condenser, but if all that was wrong was a bad core. I'd bet you have non condensibles in the system now.
  13. Ya i missed the low comp. It's time for a rebuild unless a valve is not sealing even then ya may as well just rebuild or 6.2 it
  14. Replace the plug wires and ignition coils. I bet you just have a few cylinders with a mild miss fire that is not showing. Been there.
  15. Your welcome. If I was you, and I am... I would at the very least secure the two plugs together with a zip tie between the wires. That way it will have zero chance of separation.
  16. If that red clip broke before it was pulled back you will have a time removing the clip by squeezing it. That red clip secures the pigtail in the socket.
  17. Your most welcome.
  18. To me it looks like the clutch is seeing some heat. This can be due to a few things. First if you have not. Start by cleaning the condenser. When I replace(d) my and other compressors. I go through the system and replace the other parts in the chain. Compressors do not just die. They are killed. With that- new txv and drier decescant bag in the condenser is what I replaced on my 14 as of most recent.
  19. I'm not sure about the cooled seats. What other air-conditioning parts did you/have install?
  20. I fear soon enough the state will turn blue. The amount of folks moving here is like dumping ants on another ant mound. Crazy
  21. I'll tell all the folks moving here MA has the form of governing they are used too! Just gas up and keep going to MA!
  22. Double post
  23. I'm going to be clear. I my original post I was not throwing a punch at anyone on this site. I think we all here have seen our far share of people getting shafted. Alot of them come not even knowing they did get the tail end of the deal. Because I care for others... it's frustrating to see someone come with issues that can be sorted out with ease- especially since Google and youtube have most info anyone working on anything will need. Reading the OP I hear the same thing everyday. Last tech adjusted the pressures. Basically he took/ let some gas out to get the head pressure down. Like jsdirt said look at and clean the condenser coil. It is located in front of the radiator. In lue of going back to the tech you can purchase a Water Saber . This connects to your garden hose and will flush out the radiator, condenser coil, trans cooler and you can use it to clean any place on a vehicle you can not reach.
