  1. I used a remote battery disconnect: https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Remote-Control-Master-Disconnect/dp/B07DFM2NJ3/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=12V+Car+Wireless+Remote+Control+Battery+Disconnect&qid=1615996923&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExRU5JUDBRUEc1UEJCJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNTkyMTQ5MTNSS0JBV0M1Vk5JRyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwOTQxMDMyMk9ENEVPMkhOTDdUWSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
  2. Nav-TV has posted an update dated April 30th. https://navtv.com/media/products_file/2020/04/30/ZEN-AVB-GM_SW.zip
  3. I use a JL VXi 1000/5. The comments are correct, the VXi will do what you need it to do if you are using the LoC.
  4. What TCM do the 19s have? Where is it located? thanks.
  5. This looks awesome! If you had to do it again would you go for the high gloss or matte?
  6. Fuse blown? Check the ground? https://www.onallcylinders.com/2019/07/24/how-to-diagnose-electrical-ground-issues/
  7. I had a single P20f (8") in the center console of my 2018 and it was amazing. No doubt in my mind you will be happy with your choices. Are you running all new speaker wire?
  8. I went with the flax in the front as well, something about them seems more warm or natural, to me anyways.
  9. Yeah, that's exactly how I feel about it too. Do you have any pictures of your setup?
  10. Makes a lot of sense to me, if the Nav-TV functioned as designed. I'm sure they will work out the issue someday, but for now we are kind of stuck. The frustration of the Nav-TV cutting out and having to come up with a way to reset it remotely makes me feel that the fix86 route would be cheaper and less of a headache because it actually works.
  11. Yes it has an optical input and output: https://www.jlaudio.com/products/vx1000-5i-car-audio-vxi-amplifiers-98632 You could also check out a LLJC harness T-Harness (https://lljcustoms.com/store?olsPage=t%2Fgm-vehicles) wired to a Fix 82/86 or another OEM Integration DSP to eliminate the need for the NAV-TV.
  12. Granted my JL VXI might perform these functions differently (Remote, DC Offset, & Signal Sensing), but I have tried all of the different functions together and independently, all have the same result. (https://embed.widencdn.net/pdf/plus/jlaudio/ewsd4a15yh/VX1000_5i_MAN.pdf?u=ndijqi) You might get a kick out of this, but what I did was add a remote on/off switch inline to the amplifier (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WRFYH7L/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_YBQyEbYX9DMTD). When I cycle power everything works like it should, and I can do it going down the road.
  13. Unfortunately the NAV-TV still cuts out randomly over analog/RCA. I changed the connection to the optical/toslink and the NAV-TV has been rock solid. I guess I should have done it earlier.
  14. Thank you for sharing! I was getting tired of checking everyday. I don't usually like to flash new software so soon after release, but this is driving me crazy.
  15. Try this link: https://lljcustoms.com/store?olsPage=products%2F2014-2018-gm-t-harness-for-8-screens-without-bose-1418gm8
  16. Maybe someone was referencing the custom T-Harness from LLJCustoms? (https://lljcustoms.com/store?olsPage=products%2F2014-2019-gm-bose-amp-t-harness) For Bose systems you could use either t-harness or the Nav-TV Zen AVB-GM (NTV-KIT955), wouldn't need both.
  17. Nope, didn't work, although I did not have to reboot the NAV-TV, only the JL VXi.
  18. I have different components, but have the same end results with the NAV-TV. I changed the amplifier turn on to "DC Offset" instead of relying on the NAV-TV remote wire. It almost seems like the blue remote wire is losing voltage which is causing the amp to shut off. Granted it has only been a day since I changed to DC Offset but so far seems to be working. Probably will make a fool out of me tomorrow, hehe. It drives me up the wall that I spent $600 for a device that works intermittently, and has non-existent support resources.
  19. You could go with the Zen (https://navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT955/zen-avb-gm.html) and hook it straight to a JL Audio VXi amplifier. No need for a FIX or TwK.
  20. I wonder if the design has changed over time. I had my cover installed at the dealer when I purchased the truck a year ago and it has never leaked. There was a recall on the tonneau earlier this year, so I took it off temporarily until resolved, the weather stripping looked superior to the Bak I had on the last truck.
  21. I currently have a vinyl wrapped box in place with a single Diamond Audio 10 and an ARC 5 channel amplifier... and I hate it. They put the amp on the passenger side and put the half length box behind the driver seat. It completely defeats the purpose of keeping partial storage. I have been eyeing this: https://mtiacoustics.com/product/mti-acoustics-enclosure-upgrade-on-enclosure-amplifier-mounting-will-not-work-for-ported-enclosures/ If you can live with a single subwoofer, MTI has a full length box with a storage cubby & integrated amp enclosure. I am going with the JL VX1000 5 channel & the JL 13TW5 sub. I currently have Focal Door speakers & Kenwood Excelon Dash Speakers.
