  1. Just finished a drive from fort worth to San Antonio and while the seats from the refresh are better than before, I was hurting pretty bad by the end of the drive. The cushion is just too short and too firm. Butt and legs ache. 23 silverado high country.
  2. Personally I love the heated steering wheel in mine. It's the second best I've ever had. My wife has a telluride though and hers gets so hot I actually do have to turn it off after a while, but I personally like a hot steering wheel when it's cold out.
  3. I've got a 23 high country and it does this too. There is no way it's intentional when it's 100+ degrees outside and it immediately shuts down before cooling the truck down. If you hit the fan speed button and then auto again it will work and stay on. It's annoying.
  4. They are the same seats unless you go up to the denali ultimate or at4x. That being said, I owned a 19 denali and now own a 23 high country. The seats are definitely firm, but are better than before. In my 19 I could go about 30 minutes before my butt started hurting and my toes started going a little numb. In my 23 I don't really have those problems. I still think they aren't as comfortable as other brands, but they are better than before the refresh.
  5. I actually bit the bullet and got a 23 high country a few months ago. Compared to my 19 denali, the seats are firm still, but definitely better. My legs don't go numb and my butt doesn't feel like I've been sitting on a wooden bench after an hour. I drive several hours a day and it is definitely much more tolerable. Not as comfy as fords, not sure about ram, but they aren't as bad as they used to be.
  6. I just got 4k off on a high country yesterday, 2023 model.
  7. Yeah that is kind of what I was afraid of. I'll be coming from a stinger gt2, its very quick, would probably miss the power. I've had the 6.2 before and it's a great engine, just wish there was a bigger gas tank.
  8. I've had the 6.2 in another vehicle before and it's great, but really interested in the ecodiesel. Never driven a diesel before. I drive on a lot of rural one lane highways in texas with high speed limits and sometimes you have very short distances to pass people. With the lower horsepower on the diesel how is passing power? I know you can't floor it and expect it to go like the 6.2, but is the acceleration still pretty good at higher speeds?
  9. My 2019 did this as well, I had tons of problems and got rid of it, was hoping the refresh would have fixed most of the issues.
  10. I have a kia stinger, was planning on replacing it with the new tundra as I have had tons of issues with the ford and have horror stories about ram. Don't think I've ever been as disappointed with a vehicle as the new tundra, so now I'm back looking at these after the refresh.
  11. I sure hope they did change some. I really love the design of these trucks and with the new OS being Google, if the seats are better really thinking about giving them another try. I just don't really like ram trucks that much, I've had to lemon law fords and am super disappointed with the new tundra.
  12. I had a 2019 denali and absolutely hated the seats, I know a lot of people have complained about them. Anyone that has a 2022 refreshed model, can you tell if they improved the seat comfort at all?
  13. I had a 19 denali, some of the same issues as you, lots of other ones, lemon laws were not applicable because the issues were random and different, just lots of problems. I traded it in for close to what we paid and am driving a car right now. I'm waiting to see how the new tundra turns out, if I don't like that I will check back and see if they fix all these problems. GM was not really helpful, but thankfully truck values are very high right now so you csn probably sell it without much of a loss. Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk
  14. I hated the seats in mine, on longer drives my leg would start to go numb. Least comfortable car seats I ever had. Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk
  15. I had a 19 denali with nothing but problems and finally traded it in. Driving a kia stinger now, planning on waiting for the new tundra. I've only had these kinds of problems with my American vehicles. The Japanese and Korean vehicles we have had have basically worked flawlessly with actually having more tech than in my denali. It can be done, the quality control at GM is just crap. I really miss my truck, but then I remember the constant problems and dealer visits and think I made the right choice. I really hope GM gets it together though, I love their trucks, when they work. Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk
  16. I had tons of problems with mine as well, I've got numerous posts here detailing them, some of them the same or similar to yours, I finally had enough and traded it in. The dealer tried to fix them, but they were so random was next to impossible. I'm going to be waiting for either the cybertruck or the new tundra if that ever comes out before I get another truck. I've had a lot of fords and one Chevy and then this GMC, had problems with all of them, so think I'm done with American vehicles until they get their act together, if they ever do. 17. No one knows exactly what they will do yet, but should be very similar to the yukon Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  18. https://realtruck.com/p/borla-s-type-cratemuffler/bor-400822/ Says it is for the current generation chevy/gmc 6.2, this is kind of what I'm looking at. I'll talk with someone from the muffler shop first if I decide to do it, my knowledge on exhausts is pretty lacking. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah I had watched that, may consider it, really like the sound on the borlas though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  20. Appreciate the replies, glad to hear it, I just don't think I could justify 1500+ for a good catback, but really want some better sound. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  21. Seems like catbacks are what everyone seems to be getting right now, but I don't see the benefit, at least on paper when it comes to cost vs going with a muffler replacement only. It seems like on a catback you may increase horsepower by 10 hp or so and might get a slight improvement in mpg, but the sound improvements would largely be the same as just using a muffler. Am I correct or are there other benefits to going with a catback that I'm just unaware of? Thanks! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. If it is a known defect, tsb or recall I would think it should be covered regardless of the warranty, but not 100% sure. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  23. The other thing that pisses me off about gm when they remove stuff for new model year, typically the prices go up a little bit anyway. For the new model year traverse they are getting rid of the more advanced awd system to a cheaper one that isn't as good but they aren't charging less. Its a bad philosophy that GM seems to have these days for all their stuff. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  24. Is there any reason to go for the borla atak catback instead of just using the atak crate muffler if getting the sound is the only thing you care about? It doesn't seem to me that the performance gains are enough to justify the expense of the catback, but I might be missing something. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  25. Did they actually use different seats for the 2020 model? Anyone know? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
