  1. Have the same problem with 18 Tahoe. They installed new mounts which helped but I still felt it. Got the diablo sport i3 tuner and raised idle to 600. No vibration. Then I said what the hell, decided to get a Diablew tune. It’s been great. Love how the truck responds. He also changed transmission shift points and they are firm and fast now. 2. The one thing I have noticed is when mine is actually running at 195 it will cool down fairly quick to 180ish in about 30 min after I turn the vehicle off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Do you by any chance know the torque specs for the bolts? Got one for the lines and one for the body Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My 6L80e runs about 185 on the highway. Around town when up to temp it about 195. Most times it never gets to 195 for me. All my trips are short. I’m towing in a few weeks and I’m curious where it will settle at on the highway. I replaced factory fill with AMSOIL Signature at 24k (about 10 quarts). I do have the max tow package. I’ll probably do the thermostat delete after my trip when the weather cools a bit. I’m in Virginia so we don’t have extreme heat like the south although it’s been damn hot [emoji3062] lately for the last month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Damn. Thought that might have been it. That would drive me nuts. Hopefully someone has a solution here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. One of the comments was that his sound was coming from the top driver side just like yours did. Check out this video Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. If anyone is looking for an aftermarket remote start check this one out. Just installed one in my wife’s car. All plug and play. Installed in 15 min. Can add on app module for starting from phone or Apple Watch. It uses OEM remote for starting. Can also buy long range remotes if desired. My wife is thrilled. https://www.12volt.solutions/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That’s why I do all my own oil changes and maintenance/repairs unless it needs warranty work. Never used the 2 free oil changes. I know the job is getting done right when i do it, I don’t need to listen to them up sell me on something I don’t need, I don’t need to waste an hour or more there and I can do it cheaper. 9. you could remove the transmission line from the radiator and see if oil is flowing when the vehicle is running. And if so the flow rate. Maybe there is a blockage somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Grumpy. Much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. What’s the max temp for amsoil before it’s shot? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I went with Diablew. Very happy. Lew is very response to all my questions and got my tune back within a few hours after I sent him my logs. Either way you can’t go wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I went with Diablew and it’s been great. It’s around the same price as BlackBear. You can’t go wrong with either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Great info. Never knew that could be done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. The speed just depends how busy the network is. The onstar data package is considered prepaid service so your not going to get the same service as post paid att customers. Onstar data gets de prioritized based on network traffic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Found this on the Apple forums. Lots of people have issues. I’m wondering if after the software update Apple doesn’t like some third party wireless chargers. That is just a temporary fix. I came to the conclusion that certain 3rd party wireless chargers are causing it to disable wireless and that's why reboots fix it. It seemed to only happen on a certain charger I used at work. I ended up returning my phone and switching back to my Pixel 3. It seems like a software issue since it works at times. Almost like Apple has a built-in feature to disable Wireless charging when it detects something it doesn't like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The warranty starts when the vehicle gets put in service. They could have put it service to use as a demo but never did. The warranty does not start when it hits the lot. The dealer gets money from GM when they put them in service for use as demo vehicles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. So I just tried my wife’s iPhone 11 Pro she got last month it’s hit or miss just like mine. No difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. My charger is not controlled by the BCM. I added wireless charging capability by tapping into cigarette lighter wiring so I’m assuming BCM is not the problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Could it have something to do with the optimizing setting? I’m going to turn mine off and find out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Same as mine. 13.6. He did the update as well. I tried his before the update and his charged fine. The funny thing is mine phone worked all the time when I first got it back in October. Then something happened along the way. It’s weird. I have to try my wife’s iPhone tonight when o get home. She has an 11pro she just got last week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. No change in mine. Doesn’t charge more than it charges. My son can put his iPhone XS on it and it works fine. He is running Same updated software. Same case no issues. I think it’s a hardware problem with the iPhone 11 Pro. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Same problem here. iPhone 11 Pro. I’m betting it’s a software issue. Have the same problem in the house charging it wirelessly. It’s not the hardware in the truck. I’m hoping ios14 fixes it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I have the 6L80 and did not notice a difference when I had it. I recently changed out the oil to AMSOIL and noticed a smoother transmission mostly when going from park to reverse or drive. No more clunking. Smooth and quiet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Oh ok. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If they ever question a warranty claim due to OBD port usage just tell them you had your insurance company dongle plugged in. But from what I gather with any major warranty claim they look for index markings on ecm. If they don’t match up with what’s in there system per the updates they did on your car at any dealer then there is a problem. Since range leaves no marks you will be fine. This is the way I understand it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
