Did the front differential yesterday. Oil came out black. Magnet had fine shavings but the oil felt gritty. I don’t think these magnets are all that strong. Glad I got it all changed out at 23k. Majority of the tine it’s BJ’s followed by costco. Never had an issue. They are always the same price and the cheapest. Just depends which side of town I’m on at the time.

Got the rear differential and transfer case done today. Those squeeze packs are the best. Had some metal on fill plug and magnet on bottom of housing. Transfer case plug had some too. Fluid was still red. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine was slow before this whole thing started. It’s prepaid data so it’s de prioritized behind post pay subscribers. Sometime I’ll get fast speeds but it’s rare. The kids don’t have issues streaming though. It’s just the way it is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I went with the diablo i3 8245. I only wanted to raise my idle because it was crappy and delete afm. I tried the canned tune but did not like it. I got a custom tune from Diablew tunes. He has you log some time driving then customizes it for you based on your vehicle. I went with the 91/93 tune. He also changes the transmission shift point. Let me tell you it’s night and day. I have to put about 150 miles on the tune then do some wide open throttle logs. He will then fine tune it for me. Lew is top notch. Had my tune back quickly and is very responsive. Highly recommend Lots of folks here use blackbear tune. I guess it’s personal preference. But initially I wasn’t looking for tune so that why chose diablo. I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

Anyone have experience with UPF63R? I believe the corvettes use them.

The more and more I think about it, I might lease my vehicles when its time for new.. 3 years and dump. Don't have to worry about all this crap. Its hard though if ones drives a lot of miles.

Did you bump only in drive or when your in park as well? I just did in drive and left in park alone at 500. I was thinking of bringing that to 550. Annoys me but I don’t sit in the truck much while in park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nope. It’s just GM’s crap idle. My 18 Tahoe did the same thing. Had motor mounts changed although helped did not solve problem. It idles to low. Got a diablo tuner and raised idle while in drive to 600. Smooth now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here are my continental LX20’s @ 22k miles. I rotate every 7500. I see nothing like yours. A few small spot of rubber missing. I would contact continental and give them plant code and date of manufacture. It’s located by DOT marking. Also send some photos. They could of had a bad batch/run. It’s good to get it on record. Yeah. I am essential as well. Luckily my shift is overnight which limits my risk and the risk to others in the event that I may have it and not know it. Thinking back I was horribly ill over thanksgiving and my cough lingered through Christmas. I can only wonder if I had it. No one else in my house got sick. But it was a dry cough as well. I got tested for flu which was negative so my doctors response was it’s a virus. I would love to take a blood test to see if they can determine if I was previously infected. Yes but here Cuomo has been saying the last 2 days it’s leveling off. Today there was a spike in deaths. This is with everyone staying home and no economic activity. And I see now that Cuomo in New York doesn’t want to use the anti malaria drug on people even though it shows SOME promising signs. I mean if your near deaths door why not try it?? What is his angle? I just don’t know what to make of this anymore. At some point the economy need to start up again. But with that said, all it takes is one person to start this infection process all over again.
