  1. Never had a remote start issue, even after sitting for days. Both app and key fob will start it. Interesting to see the outcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Like others said, could have been damaged in transit, damaged when used as a demo. Dealership is not obligated to disclose unless the repair cost is over a certain amount and even that varies by state. What I have found out over the years, nothing is perfect. If it was repainted it’s still covered under the 3 year 36k B2B from in service date. Don’t worry about it and enjoy your new vehicle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Had the same issue while trying to update mine. Haven’t got a chance to call them yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yep. Crap paint. My 18 Tahoe has what appears to be dust spots through the paint. I thought the vehicles were painted in a clean room. By far the worst paint job on any car I have ever had. Didn’t notice when I bought it. Noticed as I was washing and detailing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Totally agreed. Just had my oil cooler lines replaced under warranty. 31k miles and one was leaking bad. My dealership stocks them because they change them regularly. Gm needs to change the design. Stupid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Make sure you get the right one for your vehicle. They make 2 different frequencies. I would suggest looking at the one in your vehicle. This way there is no issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Part is 20 bucks from rock auto. I was under warranty too but I hate to have anyone work on it. I would have greasy hand prints all over my headliner. I just know it. I am ver particular about my cars. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. More than likely it’s the amplifier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. You might not have to take off the pillar panel behind the back door. The burb is longer and should have enough pull down room of the headliner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Easy to do. 20 min. Below is the part I used. They make 2 different parts with different frequencies depending on your RPO code. Got mine from rockauto. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Autotrader.com and then filter. There are plenty around the country Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Great video/channel if anyone is interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I’m not sure on the pickups but I’m guessing the back window possibly. Mine was located on the passenger rear window. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I am not sure about pickups but I can assume they have the same module. I replaced the amplifier on my Tahoe and the range is great. I was having issues and also key not present showing. Others in the suv world have had same issues and replaced. The part was 15 bucks from rockauto and 20 min of my time. They make 2 different ones with different frequencies. 15. The key to a healthy transmission IMO is clean fluid. If towing a lot, more frequent changes would need to occur. The vast majority of drivers are not severe and mostly highway. I changed mine out at 24k to Amsoil and would not hesitate to do it again. Gm programs these transmissions to shift smooth not firm. In talking with people they say smooth or slow shifting transmissions have lots of slip. I tuned mine to firm shifts and like it. Is there any truth to the non firm shifting from factory creating slip and more wear?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Have the same thing on my 18 5.3. Been like that since day one. 30k miles later it’s not any worse. Goes away when warmed up. Normal GM clunking/knocking IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I would have to say transport as well. Numerous cars get damaged during transport and are repainted before sold. Unless your there when it rolls off the transport truck you don’t know if it was ever damaged. It’s hard to see everything when buying. I find a lot when washing. I typically feel all door, fender, hood edges for roughness. Its a sign it was repainted as that will be where they typically tape but nothing is guaranteed. Also feel for overspray on door jams. Yeah dealer will make good. It’s in a spot that won’t be noticeable for an exact color match like the side of the car. Nice ride though. Love the color Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I put one in my wife’s car. It’s all plug and play. I didn’t get the long range remotes. I got the app module. First year free then 39 a year after. 15 min install. The guys who run the place know their stuff. Also shows real time gps location. Great if it gets stolen. They won’t even know it’s there https://www.12volt.solutions/search?q=year-2020-make-chevrolet-model-silverado-1500&type=product Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. What about wiring in a fuel cut off switch? They won’t stick around long if it doesn’t start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. This may be off topic but check out this site. You can sort by name, contact time etc. the interesting thing is Spray 9 will kill covid. Contact time 30 sec. It’s readily available because it’s located in the auto section. Walmart for example. https://cfpub.epa.gov/giwiz/disinfectants/index.cfm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes the idle can be changed. That was my original goal using the Diablo sport i3. I then decided to do a custom tune because I already screwed with the ecm so called “watermark”. From the numerous things I read even if flashed back to stock, GM can see the index marks don’t align with what is registered in their system for that vin and will deny warranty for power train issues. I couldn’t take the crap idle so I didn’t care. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I do a lot of idling and town driving. I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. My other DI engines are the same way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks. Had oil analysis done recently on amsoil xl @6k. The prior was gas truck at 3k. I can easily say amsoil xl can go 9k miles with out problem. Gas truck I would do about 5k max IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Would an engine flush say like an amsoil product every few oil changes be a good thing to do to prevent any buildup? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Holy crap 2600 for labor. But like you said if you need the vehicle it is what it is. I still like running my tune. The truck is soo much more fun to drive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
