It can be done my buddy has CarPlay in his Silverado Work Truck and that thing is basic as it comes lol. He loves it.
Yes but doesn’t matter the guy I bought it from will take your VIN and program it to work with your truck before I send it off to you
Hmi and Radio Module
CPAA1415 started following IO3 and backup camera and CarPlay/Android Auto upgrade kit from Truck I just sold
Selling CarPlay/Android Auto upgrade kit from my truck I sold. Selling for $650, I can have it already programmed to your trucks VIN if you want so that when it gets to you it’s plug n play, your choice. Will work on 2014/2015 Silverados, Sierras, Suburbans and Yukon’s I’m told. USB receptacle not included. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CPAA1415 replied to OhmMega's topic in Audio, Electronics, OnStar, MyLink, Intellilink & SiriusXMI believe steering wheel controls would be through the LIN bus, you may have to get the PAC or Metro steering wheel controls retainment kit, if they make one yet.
CPAA1415 replied to OhmMega's topic in Audio, Electronics, OnStar, MyLink, Intellilink & SiriusXMHey I have the usb update files and map update files you’ve been looking for! If you got some programming skills I could really use the help making a way to boot into this HMI and try to get access to a file directory. Here’s my bench setup so far.
Well that’s what happens when you get pee counters to build a truck getting the cheapest parts contractor instead of one with a proven record. The big 3 does the same when retooling a plant for a new car..smh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s a design I can’t make up my mind if I like it or not, but for some reason it looks ‘bigger’ than the current design.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
