  1. Hi folks, it's been a while. I have a couple questions about some issues that I'm having. My emergency brake light is on and flashing as well as the little wrench light on my dash. It started last summer, put the scan tool on it and it said replace one of the actuator motors, passenger side I believe. Replaced it and reset the system, that didn't fix it. I took it down to my dealership and they put it on the computer and reset it as well, that fixed it until yesterday, now the same problem. With that being said the emergency brake does work and it will release but the light won't go out, very annoying. Has anyone else had a similar problem. 2nd issue is my park assist. If I come to a stop my back up camera comes on and the sonar picture pops up on the dash even when there's nobody around. Sometimes it even shuts the park assist off, also very frustrating. Anyone have any input on either of these issues, thanks for taking the time to read this I appreciate it. Paul
  2. After having the monitors installed on our camper, I bought the tool to learn the positions and it worked fine. But the truck does not retain the info for some reason. The next time we hooked up no information.
  3. I have a 20 3500 HD and we pull a 5th wheel. I have had many instances where I've had to plug and un plug because the truck was not recognizing the camper, no trailer connection. But when it does this the lights and brakes do work. Not really sure where the problem is, just another intermittent electrical issue. Also I have had the not recalling brake gain issue as well, but never had an issue towing or braking
  4. Ditto for me as well, I have had a few brake gain messages...but the trailer brakes always work.....but I always check before getting under way.
  5. Talk about cutting it close, the lowest I've gone was an 1/8 tank. The fill up was around 32 gallons so definitely pretty accurate gauge anyway, I didn't look at the miles remaining but I did notice that miles remaining is based on the current fuel economy, if any of that helps.
  6. I ordered the option with my truck and had them installed on our fifth wheel. I tried to let the truck read them but it wouldn't work, I had to order a tpsm to learn their location like when you rotate. That finally allowed the truck to read them. If your dealership wants 300. I would just go online to GM parts or find another dealer, seems a little much because the option is so cheap.
  7. That looks great. I have been contemplating putting the LTZ grill on my LT, gotta like the chrome ??
  8. I ordered mine originally in September of 19, obviously before the strike. My dealer had to reorder it in November because it fell out of the system for some reason, I finally took delivery early January. I think right now with the plants shut down because of the caronavirus that might be an issue. You may have to grab what you can that's available... perhaps. When you spend a lot of money, it's nice to get what you like but we are once again in a state of chaos so to speak.
  9. I could not get mine to work at the camper store at all. Now that it is home i will need to try again to see and thanks for the info on the reset tool for the tire location, very helpful.

Hello, is it normal to have problems trying to use a mobile device when accessing the forum, my android doesn't like it at all. Has anyone posed this question to you before, thanks

  11. Here's some pictures of the most recent, long awaited 3500 Dually.
  12. Never owned a truck before my 05 1500, then an 11 and the a 15, all 1500's with 5.3's. Then we bought an 18 2500 duramax crew, LTZ. That choice was hard thought out, we tow a camper but I had a hard time justifying the added cost. this Friday we are picking up our new 2020 3500 dually and of course it's a diesel. I was concerned about maintenance cost but there hasn't been any outside of the norm.Great power, tows anything and the fuel economy I've experienced is amazing considering the size of the truck. I can honestly say it was not a mistake, good luck with your choice.
  13. Super nice, congratulations. I wish I could put that grill on my LT... whenever I get it...if ever..lol. I will be putting on the LTZ grill though, that will bolt right up, gotta love the chrome ????
  14. Curt manufacturing has 2 5th wheel hitches available through the Chevy accessories catalog that fit the new hitch platform design. They have a 20k and a 25 k hitch now available and they also have the gooseneck ball and chain hooks available as well.
  15. Does it open all the way, it looks pretty nice. I've always bought the snapdown type, they are a pain but they keep things nice and dry.
  16. Beautiful truck, love the color and all the up grades ??
  17. Really, I've been checking the accessories catalog on line and haven't seen it yet, that's the only thing I'm waiting on.
  18. Super nice truck ?, I'll be ordering a 3500 dually as soon as the accessories Dept has the Curt 5th wheel legs available, I will definitely post pictures of that when it arrives. It looks sweet, I'm sure you will enjoy it?
  19. Sounds like a plan, if you have exhausted all other avenues that's all that is left, good luck.
  20. I would think that if it works on one of your 3 trailers it's probably not the truck. I would double check all the connections and lights on the affected trailers just to make sure everything is good there. I would second guess most of the info I get from the tech's, they have led me astray before, just saying. Maybe you could hook one of your other trailers up to a friend's truck to see if the lights work, just a few suggestions.
