  1. Add me to the list. Mine went black today and said "Service Rear Vision System" but came back up right away. When it did come back up, the lines were missing though. Reading a few pages back, where it was said that it's happening if you immediately try to reverse immediately after starting the truck may be true. It did it for me within seconds of startig my truck and putting it on reverse.
  2. I always get lines when backing up while pressing the brakes. Happened since day one. This is new.
  3. Yup same exact thing except my screen was black. It came back up within seconds but the lines were gone. Done this twice now. So tired of the issues with this system.
  4. No way mine was updating since I wasn't anywhere near my WiFi at home and mine is a Custom so no OnStar or any sort of Satellite connection.
  5. Mine started doing this today. Screen went black then the message came up. It came back on its own and then the backup guide lines were gone. WTF. Any definite fix yet?
  6. Do I wish my TB had the 6.2? Sure! Do I regret not waiting for the 2020 TB with 6.2? Nope! For me, the 5.3 is plenty and way more peppy than the same 5.3 in my 16. Weird. I will say, I do LOVE the Range AFM disabler. No more lag.
  7. I had a long ordeal with my truck. Here goes. Truck came with stock C rated Duratracs. They were loud but were pretty smooth. Few thousand miles in I started getting a constant vibration at anything over 65. Multiple balances later, still issues. I figured maybe tires were bad. At this point went with Falken Wildpeak AT3W in E load. Horrible even after multiple balances, but to the tire's credit, I think the guys who did my balances did a horrible job and these were E rated and were going to feel rough no matter what. Switched to Firestone Destination AT2 P rated. Again bad vibration and hopping even after two balances later. Switched to Bridgestone Revo 3 in E load (Firestone wouldn't sell me the P rated version for some reason even though they did before) and out of all of them, these were by far the smoothest but still very rough and vibrations. 3 balances later, got rid of them. Today I went to Discount Tire and tried their Cooper ATP in P rating. I think I finally found my tires. These so far (driven about 100 miles) are the smoothest and quietest out of the bunch, not to mention a lot cheaper. I'm a little worried switching to a P rated tire, but I rarely tow, and I do go off road but nothing too crazy. Mainly fire roads around town. Hope I made the right decision, but so far I love them. I can enjoy driving my truck again.
  8. I was actually thinking about those two things myself! Changing rims, and also do the water test on my wife's brand new SUV which is super smooth.
  9. You tell me. I took this today in the smoothest road out here going about 75.
  10. Only thing that stopped me from buying a Tundra was that during test driving, all 3 ones I tried had an annoying gas pedal vibration. Otherwise I would have been all over it.
  11. I got a rattle coming from the rear also. Wondering if it's this. I have a lot of crap under my seat storage and thought it was that, but I'll remove them and see.
  12. Took a video today of my vibration. This is what I've been dealing with. This is with the NEW tires.
  13. The only time I had almost zero vibration was when I switched tires with my buddy. It was his stock 18" wheels and tires. Same size as what I have now, only P rated and they were street tires. I wonder if this is just a normal thing for this truck? I figured since the tire I purchased is not very aggressive at all, that I would have zero vibrations, but I have seat vibrations even in the smoothest of roads once I hit 65.
  14. Unfortunately for this tire size they either have only P rated or E. I was a little worried about going P rated because I do off road on occasion, and was worried about getting tire punctures. I have 90 days to try these out. Wonder if I should go back and get P rated ones. I will say these ride a lot smoother than the Falkens. I still have seat vibration, but it's a lot less than before.
  15. Hello all. As some of you know by reading my other threads, I have been having seat vibration issues with my truck. I am on my 4th set of tires and I think I finally found one that is a good combo of street comfort and still has a little bite for off road. Went with E-rated: https://www.bridgestonetire.com/tire/dueler-at-revo-3 I had the Falken Wildpeaks AT3W and they required a lot of weight to balance. They are 61 pounds per tire, and these bridgestones are 48 pounds per tire and they're both E rated. The bridgestones required very little weight. Although my seat vibration issues have drastically been reduced with these new tires, I am still getting some seat vibration/feedback at anything over 65-70 mph even on the smoothest of roads. Is this normal, especially for these bridgestone which are not very aggressive, even for an A/T tire. I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks all.
  16. My guess, maybe the exhaust flapper. My truck does it every time it goes from V4 to V8.
  17. Similar thing happened to me recently. Screen froze, I tried pressing different buttons and nothing. Then screen went completely black. Shut truck off and then on, nothing. Turned truck off, went to the store, came back 20 minutes later turned on truck and everything started working again like nothing happened. Weird
  18. Same here. Post some pictures when you're done. Interested in how it'll come out.
  19. From my paperwork, looks like 5280718
  20. Just so you know, the first time I took my truck in they found a TSB for some wire harness near the transmission that was lose and needed readjustment. They thought it was that at first. Wonder if yours is related to that instead?
  21. Weird. Have a video of it? Go away in 4x4? My TB has a clicking (went away) and the jingle only once in the morning. I posted the video above.
  22. Do you have an AT4 or TB? Also, what symptoms are you experiencing?
  23. I must have not seen it, but does @truck_newbie have a TB? If so, what is he experiencing ?
