LOL I did the same thing once, I was like damn my HUD broke and drove around a cpl days with no HUD. I was all mad that my new truck was already having a major issue till I realized I had turned it all they way down lol.
My comfort got better as I slowly dialed position in, when I first got the truck I could barely handle driving more than 100 mile trip. Now I can go about 400 miles till I start feeling discomfort. These defiantly aren't the best seats but does get better with seat time and tweaks.
Was getting late sun was about to set so had to drive top of my road to get out of shadow of house, so sun shinning straight into grill. Overall very happy how it turned out. The dealer also installed my up fitter switches for free.
I'm running 18 but won't be upgrading tire till I need to swap them out. I read on forums these will fit without any rubbing stock. Don't know if 35's will work without some lift or trimming.
Had a 2018 Ford Eco 3.5tt max tow package with the 3.55 rear and when towing mileage goes down pretty fast and inclines here in the mountains and summer heat my temps would climb crazy fast with the turbos going, one of the reasons switched to a HD. Decided on GM after doing my test drives and comparing things that makes towing easier. GM sold me with the cameras set up and HUD which put them 1st above the others for my choice. I went diesel this time only because my new trailer I just purchased is 14k and I pull up steep grades on all my destination areas.
My daily driving unloaded in town real numbers with the eco was 14ish. Highway 18-19. When I hand calc Lie o meter was always 1- 2 mpg over real number. Towing 5k AVG 6-7 at 63-65mpg would drop to 5mpg at 70mph "speed limit is 75". My best I ever achieved was doing whole trip at 55 and got 8mpg.
I love it on my wifes car and when I had my vett, Showing the speed and navigation up coming turns, I no longer have to look down at my dash. Makes it so nice when driving, I'll have it set to speed pretty much fulltime and one of the reasons I chose GMC over Ford for my new truck. I always had gm cars and moistly Ford trucks in the past. Be the first time in a GM truck. Hud, the cameras, and upgraded payload is what sold me on this truck.
