  1. Goodyear tires are sold. Still have the wheels with Generals, ready to bolt up!
  2. 28,000 miles - I have had them on my truck since new.
  3. All sold
  4. Boost Auto Parts has a kit to make this happen and install is a breeze. Very happy with mine!
  5. Can this entire page 2 of this thread be deleted since it has nothing to do with the Duramax, and the thread is in the DURAMAX forum?
  6. I ran Rotella T4 in my 2014 and used it on the first oil change of my 2020. Just bought T6 for the 9K mile oil change - I'm sure T4 would have been fine, just seemed like I should use T6 in this expensive of a truck going forward!
  7. I thought the same thing at first, but the usage seems to have normalized after like 6K miles. I don't think the gauge is very accurate and mine definitely was not full on delivery. After getting it topped off, usage and miles per fill up seem very similar to my 2014.
  8. You can definitely just put a switch in. Cut one wire, splice the switch in, and you are done.
  9. You can go with 35x12.50 on a stock truck with stock wheels and have no rubbing. To answer the question a few posts up, your dealer is wrong. Wheels are 8x180 and have been since 2011.
  10. I added them to my 2014 Duramax. On that truck, there was something like 14 different roof wiring harnesses for all of the various options. I am sure the wiring is not just there for you to plug into. I ordered a harness that had the roof marker light option, stripped just that section of the harness out, and ran it along side my existing roof harness. Drilling and caulking was another story, but I did not have any problems in the six years I had that truck. I do know the 2015-current lights are more difficult to drill and mount as they use square holes - the 2014 and prior was simple round holes I did with a drill bit. Good luck - it is not easy and will cost you a lot more than $55!
  11. It's a generic part, not made to "match our trucks". https://gmauthority.com/blog/2019/11/gm-keyless-entry-keypad-gets-new-design-for-2020-model-year/
  12. They should have installed it so that the right edge of the keypad matched the angle of the right edge of the door i.e. consistent measurement from door edge to both top and bottom of keypad. They just angled it too much.
  13. I have an AT4, so it has it but I see no real purpose to it. The DMax has engine braking, then just use the truck brakes as necessary to slow down going down a hill. You'll be fine with what you ordered!
  14. What else would you expect it to do? I love it!
  15. Yeah, I'm not really worried about it coming off. I am more concerned with battery life and general longevity as I said it just seems really cheap. I may be wrong...but it does only have a one year warranty.
  16. This is becoming comical and I think you are losing more interest than you are gaining. Unless I am missing something, your website still has no real info on your product...why do I have to enter my e-mail to "see the models"?
  17. Yes, it is minimally backlit once you press a button. There are five actual buttons - one in the section marked 1/2, one in the 3/4 section, etc. You can lock the truck without putting your code in. Inputting the code unlocks the driver door, you can press an additional button for it to unlock the other doors. If you hold the buttons, it will fold/unfold the mirrors just like the fob does.
  18. Agree, I checked tonight and you can lock the fob inside. The GM pic shows the front well, so I snapped a pic of the back for you.
  19. I can snap a pic, but like Steve mentions, I have yet to mount it due to concerns about how it will hold up to the Ohio Winter. I did consider inside the gas door, and that may / may not work as it looked to be a really tight fit. My thought was to mount it in the area where the mirrors are mounted on the older trucks - keeps it hidden as I think it sticks out too much if you mount it on the B pillar. I had a $100 accessories credit, so it only cost me $100 including dealer programming. In hindsight, just not sure it was worth it as it looks to be disposable after 18 months - maybe I am wrong, but it just does not exude quality or resilience in my opinion!
  20. I have this. I know you can lock the fob inside the truck with it, which is what I wanted. Not sure about keeping the truck running and wasn't even aware that the truck would shut itself off after some time. I never let mine just idle for any amount of time. It is a neat little device. Dealer had to program it to the truck, then yes it just double-stick tapes wherever you want it on the truck. It does seem a bit cheap and fragile so I do wonder about how long it will last, but so far so good.
  21. Yea, the regens on the new ones are pretty undetectable. On my 2014, the higher idle was always noticeable, but I have no clue when my 2020 regens.
  22. Wow, $360+ for the B&W! I still think the OPs solution is the best and certainly the most cost effective at $60 shipped from Amazon... I do get that it only gives you one towing height, but after having an adjustable-height hitch for the past two years, I have found that this amount of drop works for most trailers. I have yet to adjust my hitch from it's lowest (most drop) setting.
