  1. My 2019 Denali was making this same noise. It sounded like wet rotors when applying the brakes or turning. Then I started having braking issues where on initial use for the day I'd have no brakes the first time I tried stopping, the rest of the day/drive would be fine. Ended up having the entire ebcm unit changed, master cylinder and all. Thank God for extended warranty. 5k repair otherwise.
  2. The "u" codes are module connection error codes and are bullshit. My 19 Denali has thrown these u codes about 3 times now and the dealer never finds anything even though there are codes stored. If this happens again with my 19, I'm tempted to remove and replace all the ground straps with something better, or st the very least clean all their connections very well.
  3. My 19 locked me out with my fob in my backpack sitting on the rear seat when I closed the back door. I had it running by remote to warm it up at work and this occurred when I unlocked the rear door, placed my backpack on the seat and closed the door. When I tried the front door it was locked. I didn't unlock via fob but the keyless button on the back door handle, and I know for a fact this unlocks all the doors and not just the one. I luckily had my phone on me and called OnStar and they sent an emergency unlock as a courtesy even though I'm not signed up.
  4. These brake monitoring systems are garbage. My 19 had 3 reporgrams done before I bought it brand new, and 2 more afterwards. At approx 55,000 km the pads were down to the metal backing plates and the "sensors" were still saying 70%f and 80%r life left.
  5. On my 19 it's through the settings on the infotainment screen. Iirc it's under the "vehicle" menu.
  6. All I do is highway. 1 hour highway driving each day that I work. I guess you are just getting lucky. Just don't go be the monitor system. The biggest kick in the ass with this whole process is they I never heard a single brakes noise.
  7. There is nothing wrong. That's how GM "designed" it.
  8. Yup, this system is crap. Exact same thing happened to mine and it had the pre purchase brake monitor system update, plus it was done 2 more time for sure and possibly 1 more time after. Same here like %80ish front and 78% back and within maybe 2 weeks all pads and rotors needed replacing due to the severe wear.
  9. I heard from someone that the 19 and up trucks that have LED's have a heavy duty trailer flasher installed and for some reason the resistors do not work.
  10. I second, third, fourth what everyone so far has said about the Fumoto valve. My truck still has warranty cause i got the extended and asked the service manager if it would void my warranty. He did not know what it was and after some teaching and informing him some manufacturers install them from factory, he said I see no issue with this at all. Oh ya, its also RIGHTY tighty, LEFTY loosey. Not RIGHTY till OUTIE. Eesh bud, easy on the Monsters LOL.
  11. My Denali was showing al the same warnings and acting the same way. It happens because the sensor and the monitor system are CRAP and no where accurate. My levels were showing something like 65% front and 78% rep pad life remaining. Those messages popped up as well as the brake monitor system disabled message. End result was new pads and rotors all around about 2 weeks later. They believe the messages were popping up due to the sensors being worn through and giving inaccurate readings. I saw my old parts, they were some of the worst pads I've ever had on a vehicle. the rotors were pretty scored up on the inside too, they would have been beyond spec if they were to machine them.
  12. My 2019 Denali gave me this same message one time. About 6 months later I got another message pop up in the DIC saying to replace the brake pads. The day before my pad life indicators were showing 60% front and 78% rear. When the replace brake pad warning popped up it was showing -- for front and -- for rear and the brake monitor system lit up red and showed it was disabled. Took it in to have it checked out and the pads and rotors on all 4 corners were done. They think the "New brake pads installed" message was when it wore through the pad life sensor. Pads were almost at the backing plates. As a side note my truck did not initially come with the brake monitor system update, but the history shows that it was done twice in 2021, and one other time but I can't recall that date.
  13. I installed a AFE Momentum GT CAI with their dry washable filter, never disconnected the battery or anything and I haven't had a single issue going 4-4 1/2 years now.
  14. Simple Green and a scrub brush?
  15. I got lucky about 2 or 3 years back and they found my lines were leaking during a routine oil change inspection. The tech said it was actually leaking quite bad but must have just started recently as I was not seeing any oil on the ground or in the garage where I park. He said the skid plate was almost full with oil. They were replaced under my warranty
  16. All I could really locate are THESE and they look pretty similar to what you have, just not broken.
  17. General Motors Engines GM 6.2 Liter V8 EcoTec3 L87 Engine The 6.2L with DFM — the largest and most powerful gas V-8 in the segment — is SAE-certified at 420 horsepower (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft of torque (623 Nm) and is paired with a Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission. “The increased variability of Dynamic Fuel Management means the engine will operate more often with a reduced number of cylinders, which saves fuel across the board,”
  18. This almost sounds like TCC shudder. For the hell of it, one of you take your truck to a good reputable transmission shop and explain to them the issue and go with them for a test drive. Most shops will do this free of charge. I've had this exact same vibration as all of you have described but in my 07 Avalanche and it was TCC shudder (Torque converter shudder). This is a direct quote from Google about "what is TCC shudder" - Torque converter shudder is a shudder or brief shake in the vehicle after internal clutches apply in the torque converter. Most torque converter shudders happen at about 45MPH. It is similar to running over a rough spot on the road or running over a cattle guard.
  19. Stock air intake? Check that all the clamps for all the air intake tubes/filter are tight. I had a whine on my old Silverado that turned out to be from my new K&N FIPK. I have a AFE momentum CAI and filter on my 6.2 but I don't get any noise.
  20. I'd check the rubber covers where the hood hinges come up through when the hood opens near the base of the windshield. My passenger side one was loose and not locked/snapped in to place properly. Although I found this by accident, i was not getting any noticeable noises.
  21. I had something really weird happen with my Bluetooth a few weeks back. Was driving earlier and listening through Bluetooth and all was fine. Had to go out later and I was only getting audio from the passenger front speaker. Did all the disconnect/reconnect, re add phone, but nothing changed. The kicker was that on Sat radio and regular radio ALL the speakers worked fine. It was like this about 3 days, I didn't change anything and , POOF it works fine now.
  22. Mine were absolutely shot at just under 60k. The sensors are NOT accurate. Mine said there was %70 in front and %85 in rear. Both front and rear pads with the sensors had worn half way through the sensors. All 4 corners needed pads and rotors.
  23. I could be wrong but I don't think GM makes such a thing as a passenger side dimming mirror. Edit: Just did a quick search on the Google machine and it is talked about here, they don't make one. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2018/09/2019-sierra-features-only-one-auto-dimming-mirror/
