  1. I replaced the good in the dry but awful in the wet and winter conditions oem Bridgestone Dueler at. With the Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascent. After 3000 miles since early October and finally driving around in a nasty winter storm 2 weeks ago that had up to 10 inches of snow along with mixed freezing rain and sleet that I drove around in for 14 hours this tire is freaking awesome. It’s way better than the tire it replaced.
  2. I would like GM to give me a na V8 with 500 horses and 600ft lbs along with a TH400 auto in a new Silverado 1500. Along with a non leaking sliding rear window.
  3. Where did you find these for an unbelievable $200 for the pair?
  4. To the members who have way more experience than I do. If you had to do it over this year or next? Which new 1/2 ton would you buy if you planned on keeping it for like 10-15 years?
  5. Greetings fellow members. I own a 2020 Silverado 1500 LTZ crew cab Z-71 with the stock Z-71 suspension. It’s going on 4 years old soon. The rancho shocks are getting tired. What would the forum members recommend for a replacement? I prefer to keep the stock ride height. It’s my daily driver. I went to some suspension website and I saw Bilstein and Fox have 4 shock/strut kits starting around $1000. Is that what I should expect to pay for a set of good quality shocks? If I left any details out please let me know.
  6. I have finally settled on Adams wheel and tire cleaner. Then I use their VRT dressing. It’s a great combo. A bit pricey. But the results are worth the cost. To me anyway.
  7. Get a Bulletpoint mount. Don’t get Proclip. It’s absolutely plastic garbage. And their customer service is awful.
  8. Hello fellow members, My 2020 Silverado 1500 crew cab needs new front pads and rotors. Oem is semi metallic. My mechanic prefers Akebono ceramic pads on his cars. Should I insist on a semi metallic pad like oem? Or listen to the pro who fixes cars all day?
  9. Hey PureZ71. What do you have on your steering wheel? Carbon fiber?
  10. Thanks for replying to my earlier post and sharing your experience and pictures. I’m a cheapskate. But not when it comes to my truck. I just ordered the center mount and rugged case holder. I can’t wait till it arrives. I can’t believe I spent almost a $100 bucks for a phone mount. But I tried everything I could get my hands on locally and nothing worked. I hope I like it. At least they give you 30 days to return it.
  11. Do you have the magnetic or cradle mount? If magnetic. Does it fall to the floor when you go over bumps, potholes, or a rough stretch of road?
  12. Greetings fellow members. I need some recommendations on a phone mount for my truck. I have tried a vent clip one. Had to return it, because it’s in the way of the column shifter. Tried a sticky/suction mount on dash. No go there also. No smooth spot to stick to. Do I really need to spend like a $100 on that aluminum tray that bolts to the storage area on the dash. That has either 1 or 2 mounts? I need a mount that I can easily look at. So no cup holder mounts. And I think a windshield mount would be too far of a reach. So. What do the members on here use?
  13. I would not drive in the snow on the Alenzas. My truck came with AT Duellers and those are ok in snowy weather. But they ride nice, are good in the rain, and I’m too cheap to upgrade tires at only 10,000 miles.
  14. I have a 2020 LTZ and I had to send my front turn signals led bulbs back due to hyper flashing. I also purchased the Lasfit brand. The reverse lamps and license plate leds work fine. You must be lucky.
  15. I chose the 6.2 because it was the biggest engine available with the 10sp. I ordered my 2020 LTZ crew cab exactly how I wanted it. I absolutely love this drivetrain. There is power everywhere in the rpm range. The transmission shifts so smooth.
  16. I use Amsoil Signature Series 0/20 and their extremely robust filter because I wanted the the best. And based on my own research that is what I chose. It’s expensive but I don’t care.
  17. Yes I am. I’ve always used 91.
  18. My 2020 LTZ crew cab Z-71 6.2 averaged 22.2 mpg yesterday on a 220 mile round trip to my summer camp. I was doing 80 on the highway for 2/3 of the way. Then the rural roads I was either going 35 or 55 with some hills here and there the rest of the way. I average 15 or 16 in city driving. I also averaged a head scratching 26.4 mpg on a 200 mile highway round trip one night when I was bored and I wanted to see what this behemoth of a vehicle could get for fuel economy if I drove it like my Corolla. That night last summer I set the cruise to 60 and with no ac turned on off I went. Btw. The Silverados computer is pretty accurate with the mpg estimate. It’s only off by 2 or 3 tenths when I hand calculate the mpg when I fill up.
  19. I like chrome. So I voted LTZ. The LTZ is prettier looking. But the ZR2 is Badass looking!!
  20. I’m kinda like you. I love my 2020 LTZ crew cab Z-71 with the 6.2, and I don’t need a new one either. But I love the new interior and every freakin time I see the glacier blue metallic ZR2 in the new Chevy commercial I literally lose all self control and I want to drive to my longtime Chevy dealership and say. Ok order me one of those Smurf blue trucks please. And take my beautiful column shifter in trade.
  21. Absolutely stunning truck . I love the glacier blue metallic!! The interior is beautiful. I love the column shifter in my 2020 LTZ Crew Cab. But the new shifter goes great with the new interior. This is tough. I absolutely love the ZR2 in glacier blue metallic. My dealership offered me stupid money for my truck in a trade. I would miss my column shifter. But that freakin interior is sexy. Nice truck sir! Well done mate!!
  22. You didn’t think gas would get this high this quick? What did you think was going to happen with the Alzheimer’s patient that is the President??
  23. I am asking myself the same. I absolutely love the glacier blue ZR2. I stopped by my go to Chevy dealership yesterday and built one with the salesman and he had my 2020 LTZ crew cab appraised at $55,000 which is $7,500 more than what I paid for it. And he told me delivery will probably be July-September. Now my wife is going to think I’ve completely lost my mind when I tell her how sexy the new blue truck will look in the driveway.
  24. I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab Z-71 6.2l with 7000 miles on the clock. I average 13-16 around the city. Highway I get 18-22 depending on how heavy my right foot is. But on two road trips of around 400 miles each trip. I averaged 24.76 mpg. 90% of the trip was highway driving. Cruise control at 67 with the ac blasting. Amazing fuel economy for something so big and heavy.
  25. I have always used 93 since new. I paid extra for the 6.2 and the extra cost for premium fuel is what “Isabel” likes.
