  1. That is exactly the same amount of DEF usage I got on a recent hunting trip towing a 10k trailer and a quad on the truck.
  2. I am having this exact issue. I took it off road this past week and that is when it started. Same as you, I figured it was just dirty sensors. Washed the truck and message is still there. How did you end up resolving this issue?
  3. Like everyone else, I also get this issue. Occasionally it will even say "no trailer connected" but the brake gain still works. When that happens, I shut the truck off and restart it and everything works fine (this has only happened a couple of times). I figure it is a software glitch and hopefully a future update resolves it.
  4. I went from a 2009 2500 6.5 box to a 3500 8 box. The ride in my old 2500 was much stiffer than the new 3500. I test drove both and there is no discernable difference in the ride unless you are driving one with the upgraded front spring package. The long box definitely takes up a lot of real estate, these are BIG trucks but if you are comfortable with that then the long box also has a whole lot more room for hauling gear. It really comes down to your own needs and if you only need a 2500 then get that. Here in Canada, we pay extra tax on the 2500 that we don't pay on the 3500 so make sure you are familiar with your local tax laws as that could help you make the right decision. I pull an RV TT and I also haul 2 ATV's on a Diamondback tonneau cover so the 3500 was a no brainer for me. Think about what your future needs might be and purchase accordingly. You can't really go wrong no matter which one you choose.
  5. That was the info I was looking for. Too late though, I already replaced them with stock size. Maybe I will upgrade them on the next set of tires. Thanks for posting this.
  6. Looks awesome! Glad you finally get to take her home! Let me know how it is for repelling the water spots and dust. Mine looks dirty right away. I have mine booked in for PPF on the front, but still debating the ceramic coat.
  7. My Truck finally arrived! Picked it up yesterday.
  8. One local tire shop assured me that the 285/75/18 would work no problem without having to turn up the torsion bar or add a lift. Said he has put them on several trucks. My dealer says they won't fit. Another tire shop wasn't sure. In the end I decided to stay with the stock size 275/70/18 and maybe upgrade size next time I need tires.
  9. I ordered my truck Jan 28. It arrived at the dealership today April. 1. I will pick it up in 2 days.
  10. What is the biggest tire size I can put on my 18" stock rims without having to do a lift kit or turn up the torsion bars? What about with just a torsion bar adjustment? 2020 3500 AT4 Crew Cab Long box
  11. Not too likely to see very many of those around.
  12. At this point, there is probably no chance you will get a 2020. With the shutdown happening at the end of the order cycle for MY2020, I would bet that when do get back up and running they will be running MY2021 or at the very least only finishing the current orders that were already accepted into the system. If I were you, I would be DEMANDING my deposit back and then either find a truck already on a lot somewhere or wait until the order process for MY2021 comes out so you can see what you are ordering. If Laura refuses to give your deposit back, contact your credit card company (assuming you put the deposit on a card). Your only other option is to sit on your hands and wait, but you better be prepared to wait until fall to get your truck. Just my 2 cents.
  13. I am still waiting for my truck to arrive (factory order) so I can't say. However, I did not need them or miss them on my 2009 so I cannot imagine them being too important now.
  14. Stiffer front suspension will give you more control when cornering with a heavy load on the bed as the front corners won't "dive" as much. It will not be an advantage with a conventional trailer but if you pull a 5th wheel or haul heavy loads it will give you a little better control in the corners. Even though I haul heavy sometimes, I opted to not get them because I didn't want the stiffer ride when not hauling or when off road. Besides, it is an easy upgrade later if I feel it is necessary.
  15. Looks great! Did they let you keep the stock ones?
  16. Good thing 2 of those Elk were quite small. Not a lot of room in front of the 5th wheel. Even when the meat is broken down and stacked, it still takes up quite a bit of room.
  17. Ha ha I forgot to add the photo. I went back and added it now.
  18. Nice, I really like the Momentum, it may very well be my next trailer. This is the largest one I have owned owned so far at 38'. I towed it with my 2500 LMM. I was definitely running right at my max towing capacity but was actually within my payload and axle limits. Although, one time on the way back from a hunting trip with 3 elk loaded in the box ahead of the 5th wheel, I scaled it and was 200 lbs over on the steering axle and 600 lbs over on the drive axle. With the garage loaded up, most of the weight was on the trailer axles which kept the pinbox weight down.
  19. OOOHHH what brand of Toy Hauler?!?!? I have had a few, although I went to a regular RV trailer last year. I love it but I do miss my big 5th wheel toy hauler. Loading quads on a deck on the truck is a PIA compared to having them tucked away safe and dry.
  20. You can order them from GM accessories dept in Carbon Black. Not sure about the US but If you are in Canada you can order them here: https://www.gmccanada.ca/en/accessories
  21. Black, White and Dark Sky Metallic are available through GM accessories. Do NOT let them paint the ones you have. MAKE them order the proper ones and let you keep both the blue and the black. You paid $940 and you can buy them for $766 from GM Canada. https://www.gmccanada.ca/en/accessories
  22. There is no VIN until AFTER the truck is built. If you have the VIN then your truck is definitely built. Whether it gets shipped or not is another story.
  23. This is what scares me. Mandatory overtime usually means staff are unhappy and burned out. In my experience, unhappy and burned out staff make mistakes, take shortcuts and don't take pride in their work which leads to lower quality workmanship. My truck was just built in the past week and I am more than a little uneasy about it.
