Do you still have fuel cut off when decelerating? That is my complaint. It had absolutely no engine braking. Even at 3000 rpm. I sent it back. I only ran it 15 miles. No strange shifting and it did keep the dfm from kicking in?

I just ordered and received a Range DFM disabler for my 2019 5.3. While the unit seemed to function ok, I wanted to share something it did that I did not like. I am by no means bad mouthing the company or product, but I believe that the fact it disables DFCO (deceleration fuel cut off), should be revealed on their website. This was a deal breaker for me. I drive over the continental divide twice a day. I plugged in the unit and headed up to the divide. Upon heading down the other side, I was constantly on my brakes, even on smaller hills and in 5th gear at 3000 RPM. I promptly unplugged it, and immediately began slowing down, even in 8th gear. I can,t imagine using this in the mountains with a trailer. I decided to send it back,as this was unacceptable to me. I also noticed deceleration mileage was around 40 to 50 mpg, instead of maxed out at 99 mpg. It actually felt like it was giving it a little bit of throttle. I was curious if the Range Pulsar LT does this as well. I'm guessing it probably does. If anyone knows for sure, please comment.

I agree with the Bilstein 5100 crowd. I swapped out the rears at 7500 miles. A huge improvement!

Use two hose clamps. One on the inner piece and one on the outer piece with a piece of metal strap between the two. You must turn it open when tightening the clamps. Someone posted a picture, I will try and find it

Add me to the few. 2019 Silverado DC LTZ. I hardly ever have anyone in the back, wanted the standard bed. It had been sitting at the dealer for over 6 months. Got a good deal so couldn't pass it up. I wasn't looking for an LTZ.

DOES anybody with a rear slider have one that hasn't leaked from the factory?

I bought band clamps off Amazon for my permanent covering of the resonator screens. No longer a $20 modification, but what I preferred. Towed a horse trailer 600 miles with the model. No objections.

Glad we were able to roll in over to 170 pages. The cracks in the window frame pictures were quite an eye opener, but do cause me concern. I picked up the truck tonight. They sealed the window as well with strip caulk. We will see if it makes it passed 6 months. The tech promised me it wasn't leaking. I talked to the tech and service manager, as there were some minor scratches and scrapes on the interior moldings (thanks for warning me about this). I did not see any paint damage, but need to clean it up a little better. They offered to order the trim pieces and replace them. I had also asked them about turning the afterblower feature on when I dropped it off. OF course, this never made it to the service ticket. The service manager had the tech go get the computer and turn it on for me while I waited. I guess the next time I wash it, I will find out. Thank you all for the help and the humor!

I just took my 2019 in for a rear window leak. They told me it was the high mount stop light. They resealed and will check it tomorrow. (I know i have seen this mentioned before, but didn't want to go through 19 pages of posts as my computer is very slow loading). Anybody think there is a chance that this is the cause. Dealer said there was a TSB on it. Just curious what you guys think.

I covered my screens with band clamps from Amazon and clamped the flapper valve open a number of months ago. The sound improvement was just what I was looking for. No drone, but a little more sound and deeper tone. If you want an exhaust that is loud, this will not make you happy. I tried it first with the tape before spending the $60 on clamps. Just my thoughts. I am considering removing the flapper valve all together.

Stock exaust. Clamped flapper open. Slight in crease in sound at startup. No drone. After a while I covered all 6 screens. Notable increase in sound at low rpms. Perfect for me. I haven't noticed any drone, even pulling a horse trailer. I know exhaust sound is completely subjective. I don't want a loud exhaust, just a deeper tone. I would like to remove the flapper to get rid of the restriction, but this is completely reversible at any time.

I finally got my screens covered after driving it a while with just the valve pinned opened. I was surprised at the difference it made. Just right for me. A little bit of sound, but nothing noisy or objectionable. Didn't notice any drone yet. Curious how it will be with a trailer. You all are great. Thanks for all the info!

That is correct. I think he's worries they may have flip flopped it, intake and outlet, which would be bad, as I would think the exhaust would try to close the valve instead on open it. I will try to take a picture of mine this afternoon.

I covered the 3 screens on the driver's side, and left the 3 passenger side screen uncovered for comparison . At idle, the was very little difference in sounds. The covered side, however, had an odd sound, almost like a faint air compressor pumping sound. Very subtle. I didn't drive it and decided to uncover the driver's side. I may have to revisit this, since everyone seems to like them covered. I do have the flapper valve locked open.

Possibly. I wouldn't do it while trying it. Just thought I'd you liked them covered, you wouldn't have to worry about sheet metal buzzing. I actual like the band clamp idea, but it is not as cost effective. I was just curious.

Just curious if anyone has tried hi temp RTV to cover the screens. I like the sound with the flapper clamped open. I haven't messed with the screens yet.

According to the trailer app, 12.2 MPG. I assume it's close, because the MPG on the truck is very close when hand calculated. 2019 4X4Silverado LTZ with 5.3, 8-speed and 3.23 gears, the majority of that was pretty flat. Only around 200 miles so far. Pulling a 3 horse trailer that weights around 3700 empty plus two horses (another 1800-2000 lbs). Call it 5500-6000 lbs.
