  1. I put a 2-1/2 gal jug of DEF in my 2020 GMC 6.6L diesel the other day and drove it 1,000 miles and had to put in another 2-1/2 gal jug in to get back home. got home and its reading a little over a quarter and says def is good for another 114 miles. doesn't seem right. A full def tank ran me over 5,000 limes when I first got it. Why is it using so much now? Will elevation change make that much difference? I'm going to fill the DEF tank up today. When I do will it read good till 5,000 miles or will it just say nothing and read full on the gauge? Thanks
  2. All the GM 2500HD trucks come from the Flint Plant.
  3. Dealer called me Friday the 19th and is out for delivery. Got a call from the dealership on July 3rd and said it arrived at the dealership. I’ll pick it up Monday the 6th of July. I’ll add a photo to the photo thread. It’s a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 4WD Crew Cab AT4.
  4. Well I rolled the dice on taking July incentives in lieu of taking June. The July incentives went up $250.00 from $1,250.00 to $1,500.00. They just are not giving out much cash on the AT4 Truck. Mine arrived Friday at the dealership. They closed early and Saturday and Sunday they are closed. Pick up truck on Monday. Been a long wait for my 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 4WD Diesel Crew Cab. Monday I’ll send a pic on the photo thread. Good luck shopping.
  5. That’s is what I was thinking all along. I haven’t understood why the AT4 is left out of the incentives/rebates too. It seems the Sierra 1500 and the Denali 1500/2500 get the better than the AT4. In April the AT4 was $3,500 cash back. Now it seems there’s hardly nothing. Thanks Pastusak.t Don
  6. Just curious, my GMC Sierra 2500 AT4 Diesel is finally arriving around June 29. The dealership is giving me the option to take the $1,250 Rebate this month or to roll the dice and accept what comes out for the July incentives/rebates. If it were you would you roll the dice? I’m thinking since the 4th of July is coming up the Rebate May be more, what’s your opinion. Others can chime in as well. Thanks migrabill Don
  7. Yup, dealership said once it gets on the rail it goes to Minnesota then truck from there to ND. Said it’s usually a 2 week delivery. But will probably be quicker due to Covid-19 will all the truck haulers just waiting to haul. Quoted by my dealership.
  8. My latest update. Truck ordered in February 2020 TPW OF 03/23 Built week of 06/15 - 06/19 Dealer calls me on Friday the 19th and says it’s built and ready for delivery. Vin 2688xx GMC Sierra 2500 4WD, Crew Cab AT4 Diesel, Black Carbon Metallic Expected arrival is 06/29 crossing my fingers but it’s, been a long wait. Pretty excited right now.
  9. I spoke with my dealer last week and was told the Flint Plant would start up with one crew on May 4th. Got a call from the dealership yesterday and was told the start up was moved to the 18th of May. It changes every day it seems. I’ll just keep in the loop with my dealership and one day they will call and tell me they started production. ?
  10. Yup, I was told a tentative date of May 4 or 11. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
  11. I called my dealer the other day and his boss was in a conference call with GM. The tentative date for Flint plant to start up is first week in May. I also asked him about parts for the GMC Sierra 2500hd AT4 and he said my truck was far enough long in the build schedule that all the parts to build my truck were present and accounted for at the plant so if they fire up the truck can be built with that plant alone. Not familiar on how truck building goes but it sounds like he knew his stuff. Crossing my fingers.
  12. God bless your soul! Thank you so much for your commitment to patients in need during this crisis.
  13. I don’t know if anyone has done what I did but. It was mid February when I made my trade and they asked if it would be ok if they have my truck early and at the time I New I wouldn’t need it till mid to late May for fishing to pull my boat. We’ll with the Flint plant shutting down and the dealership selling my truck in the meantime. I’m in bad shape for fishing now. What kind of deal can I make with the dealership without costing me to use a truck?
  14. Did you ask the dealership if they would offer any kind of deal with using a truck in the meantime if you need a truck? I can’t go fishing without a truck to pull it. My build week was 03/23 so I’m just thinking positive as of now. Hopefully Flint starts in May.
  15. I agree waiting giving the Pandemic and GM stepping up and doing a good thing for our country. My wife is upset because we don’t have a truck to pull our boat to go fishing. Oops. Sold my truck too early. Oh well. Thanks PtownVdub.
