If 0-20w is the issue. What is everyone running in their 5.3’s? Mine in my ‘19 Yukon doesn’t have a 30psi difference. Mine at most has a 10psi difference??? MIne idles at 550 rpm. At speed mine reads 50psi.

The ambient temp causes the engine to heat up a little faster. It might cause the engine operating temp to read a little higher in some places like Iraq or Kuwait. That’s the only relationship. Once the engine is “heat soaked” it might read higher in some climates but just a few degrees. U might or might not see the difference. IMO. But who am i

My Yukon has 47500 miles on clock. I just replaced 6Lxx fluid and filter. I also added HotShot Shift Restore. I’ve been adding HotShot Stiction Eliminator to my oil changes. Adding RedLine Fuel injector cleaner at every 3-4 fill up. Let the hate begin.

I drove a RAM, all HEMI's with AFM, for the last 16, 07-16, years till I got my 19 Yuk last year, never had one engine problem. My wife drives a 13 Honda Accord with 75K on the dial. Never had any engine or brake problems. 4-5K oil changes, Mobil1/purolator filters/K&N Air Filters. I miss the 'work' in my RAM's. BUT, my SLT is comfy on an Old mans back!!

Well I would take you up on that, but I don't know the thread size of the furn-dorker where the filter screws onto the bracket. I was opening filter boxes in Walmart went thru three before I found the two MOBIL1 filter I found that did fit.. I appreciate the offer. I will go to pep-boys or one of the other shops here in town and find one.

Here in Abilene, TX the summers get into the 110-115 degree a lot. So I was gonna cool the engine even more. Guess I'll put that oil cooler on the Trany..... I'm 64, I've had 6 lumbar surgeries and don't get around like I used to. I did this mod to all my RAMS too. Only I did it w/o asking anyone. I'm tired of paying someone to do my oil changes. I'm tired of getting brake cleaner to clean under my oil filter and cross member. I'm sick and tired of cleaning my garage floor from lazy people working in the pit. I'm gonna move the filters over to the driver side, just inside side steps so I can easily change "my" oil myself. Plus I'm bored out of my gored and like working on my vehicles. I really appreciate all the help. I apologize for asking you guys, I just should have done, like on my RAMS (4 new ones over 15 years). I won't bother u guys again. MAGA-KAG 11b
