  1. Regarding any issues with the exhaust system, not the entire warranty. Poor wording on my part.
  2. That is most likely dependent on location, around here, Denali will go for much more than lower models. Denali will pull in substantially more on trade-in value. Probably regional differences.
  3. I was planning on just cutting out the stock muffler and flapper, leaving the resonators for warranty purposes. I do agree would probably sound better without though. I would simply go muffler delete but then my dealership would not honour my warranty if I did however.
  4. Great, was a little worried about how they would handle in deep snow/heavy snowfall days since I've always had winter/summer sets on my vehicles, but this makes me feel better since you would get similar snow falls as I would. appreciate the feedback! thanks
  5. Yeah that must be it, because I'm the one commenting on my poor decision, where you have many. I'm the one who needs to get a grip
  6. I would take it to the dealership, that should be rectified, its not much for them to replace it. I don't believe heat would do much to it sadly to try and do it yourself.
  7. If the Denali is just a waste then don't buy it or look at it and move on, making a comments like that just come across as uneducated. I have a Denali, and I did not buy it for the name plate nor is money a concern for me. This thread makes me laugh, an SLT is not the same as Denali and saying they are is hilarious. People buy what they want and typically what they can afford, everyone has different opinions, and those who comment saying more expensive models are not worth it is usually because they cannot afford it. In my experience those who truly feel the car is not worth it simply say that and no further comments or just don't buy it and keep it to themselves. Those who have to put models down and convince others its not worth it is because of other reasons.
  8. I'm from Canada as well. It could be different for me as I'm use to buying premium for my other cars, so the cost variation to me seems quite minimal. I'm getting the same mileage out of the truck that I would with any of my other cars (except the wife's diesel) and price is only up maybe $6-9 per tank. I didn't notice the 6.2L being and worse than 5.3L when I was comparing the two.
  9. Great, what I was hoping to hear. Prefer the sound of the S or ATAK as it seems to be louder than the XS, but was worried about cabin noise
  10. I know its not winter yet, but it will be coming to us in the great white north in coming months and I wanted to see for those of you with the 22" tires how have they been in the snow? Would like to know what to expect, and if I should be looking into getting a winter set or not. I imagine they are okay, but I'm curious how they are in deep snow?
  11. I actually don't find the fuel economy that bad, yes it can be terrible if I'm getting on it, but that is 100% on me if I drive that way. The premium was a bit of a shock to me as well, but the extra few $ for it over regular, not the end of the world in my eyes.
  12. How is the XS when your cruising along on highway? Drone still noticeable?
  13. Vinyl holds up really well from my experience, and my paint guys tells me the same. I have him shopping for a set of handles for me to paint so I can throw them on my truck. Hopefully he can find a set that come unfinished and then I know they will hold up well, paint the chrome handles I'm not sure will hold up with the amount of abuse they receive. Time would tell I guess.
  14. Lol well I'm not sure that many on the 2019+ Sierras, but I'm well aware I wouldn't be the first to weld in a muffler, but I assumed at least one person has welded in Borlas before I do lol
  15. I have no problem going first, just figured someone had done it by now on a 2019... but looks like your right, i'll go first!
  16. Nobody has just welded in a muffler? Everyone is getting full catbacks ?
  17. comparing what one would pay for a vehicle is like comparing apples to oranges, opinions will always vary. Everyone I talk to about my trucks asks me why I bought it over a dodge when they have better interiors? Yes Dodge has a better interior than GMC, but in comparison to what my German vehicle interiors offer, its not even comparable. Hands down better than anything found in North America. It is all subjective. Would I pay full MRSP? **** no! but give me a deal (in my opinion) and I will take it. Mag ride makes a world of difference to me along with a few other features, but like I said that's just my opinion.
  18. Exactly the reasons why I purchased the Denali
  19. Thanks! that sounds easier then going at them from inside the wheel well
  20. Can you confirm they are taken off by going into the fender and pushing them out from the inside? Were you able to do it with tires on still ?
  21. Well I was going to leave the fender badge/vent alone and just swap inserts, but after seeing this I'll starting to think I want to pull mine and do the same. nicely done!
  22. I ended up doing the work myself, painted out the grille surround (left grille insert chrome), fog surrounds, mirror caps, 3rd brake light, emblems. I haven't gotten to window trim or handles yet, cannot decide what I want to do (paint vs. vinyl vs. swap parts) I never got any paint quotes yet, but I did have a guy quote me on the vinyl before, and it was roughly $400 Cdn to do the grille, fog surrounds, fender vents, door handles and skid plate.
  23. Maybe a rarity then, I always knew I was getting a Denali, never had any intentions of getting an AT4, just did not interest me. Some of the parts though I would gladly have swapped over to get rid of some of the chrome though.
  24. Was wondering if anyone has had the Borla Atak or Type S welded in, not the full catback, on their 6.2L. I'm guessing some of you have, and for those that have, are you happy with it? Sound clips would also be great. I'm just looking to change up the sound, so I'm not wanting to swap in a full catback.
  25. I do not understand why GM refuses to offer a blackout/midnight/etc. package for the Denali. When I picked mine up almost everyone at the dealership looked at me cross eyed when I told them I'm blacking mine out asap. The denali provided what I wanted over the At4 so that was a no brainer. I will admit though that I'm enjoying putting in the work myself and blacking out my truck and making it my own, which does allow me to have a truck that not many others will have from a looks perspective. Where I live people won't put the effort in to make cars look different, so I get to enjoy having the lone blacked out Denali so that is my silver lining lol. Now if only someone could put together a chrome delete for window trim or door handles, that would be great and reduce my effort level.
