  1. Tint and Bed Cover both come off easy enough, the leveling kit would depend on the individual dealership. Many here wouldn't even care about a leveling kit, but I cannot say where you are they would feel the same. Basically boils down to things you can easily remove or purchases you are okay with knowing your not getting your money back on it, because no dealership is paying you for the mods you do on a lease. If you plan on keeping it, go to town then with whatever you want to do
  2. That was the next think I was curious about, if there would be any difference between 4H vs 4Auto. Good to know I should expect the same.
  3. I got the answer I was looking for, I don't take it personal, just glad I now know
  4. The answer is associated with 4wd. Another member posted the same as me, and as I expected other members had experienced just as I was describing. Good to know its nothing serious.
  5. LOL this is the same question I asked just yesterday and I was getting roasted for asking it. What you are describing is exactly what I experienced for the first time other day. Switched into 4wd due to snow and every time I accelerated it made the noise your describing for a short period of time and then go away, and like you said only during acceleration. Everything else seemed normal and no issues I could see. Glad I'm not losing my mind. I knew someone would have experienced what I'm talking about, rather than non-help I received on my post
  6. Snow. Not driving in it the entire time, but first time I've actually used it for an extended period before switching back to 2x
  7. I was thinking this myself as well. Its hard to explain, it sounds like a more of a "swoosh" type of sound, very hard to explain. It only happened on acceleration and lasted short length of time. It was definitely not the intake, so something from engine or exhaust. That is why I asked in case someone else has experienced similar to me or possibly a mechanic who knows what I'm describing. I realize not everyone will be able to answer for me, but still someone might know what I refer to
  8. This is the first time the truck has seen snow and colder temperatures, and this afternoon when driving home from work (truck is parked outside on street all day) it was making noise what I believe to be from the exhaust on acceleration. No noise at constant speeds or once past the initial acceleration, but every time it would make a noise/sound for a bit during the initial acceleration. Anyone else experience this? or have a answer as to what it is? Btw truck is parked inside over night and during drive in to work was normal and no noise. First time I have encountered this. Truck still felt normal, no obvious signs or dash lights. Was in 4x4H if that matters, but I cannot see how it would.
  9. What wheels you running?>
  10. I don't think the OP was planning on stacking 5% on 5%, and that is a completely different scenario then what he is talking about or what I was talking about. That's insanely dark. but what OP posted is far lighter. When did I say anything about heat rejection? my comment was purely about color, transparency and visual appeal. Nothing to do with heat rejection, so I'm not sure where your comments are coming from. OP asked for opinions, I gave mine. You do not like dark tint, good for you.
  11. I do not believe the #400500 is Type-S, where as what your looking at is
  12. This I'm super ****** about my vehicles and I cannot stand having different shades on any window. I went much darker than anyone has mentioned (5%) all around and I love it. All my vehicles between me and my wife are 15% or less, I do not see the point of having tint any lighter. I've never had a problem with night driving and it drastically cuts down on the sun glare during the day. Night driving and backing-up is 100x easier as well with the camera system, so tint becomes a moot point. I'd personally pull it and have the front two redone, just my 2 cents
  13. I would remove both flappers, Borla Type S or Magnaflow 12909 are both nice options, and both sound good and tolerable on highway IMO
  14. You need remove the lower bumper to be able to access them to make it easy to remove the chrome bezel surround. You could mask them off in place and paint on the truck (especially if you were to do the plasti-dip) and once they are off you can put them back on with bumper back on as they attach with lock tabs.
  15. Go check out the exhaust section, plenty have done this already and results are good. It is not the same as a full catback, but if your simply after the sound then go for it. It can be done easily.
  16. When I looked into this you will need to order a set that comes unpainted and is up to you to have the set painted by yourself or a shop. I cannot recall the part# but thats what I was able to find out and the same was told to me by my body shop guy. Or you could just get them wrapped? That is what I ended up doing.
  17. That is one of my largest gripes, how they cannot have rain-sensing wipers blows my mind, all my cars have had this for years and I cannot believe GM didn't do this. Every time I jump into another car or my wife's car when its raining just makes me realize how simple and great feature it is to have. Definitely miss it.
  18. Thats what I'm doing, flap delete and borla muffler. The ATAK will work.
  19. I wouldn't say financing right away means someone does not have money, its simply another tool. 0% finance for someone who is going to keep the truck a while is not a bad deal by any means and using it does not mean you do not have the means to pay for a truck. I finance my vehicles and I am by no means financially unstable and could pay them off if I really wanted to. I know I'm not the only one. Now not having $250 to pay for knobs for your truck (if that's what your wanting to mod) because your that financially strapped is another situation all together
  20. This is the most cost effective way and it still looks great. You can keep the tint light or can go dark, all depends on what you tell the shop to do and they will come out great.
  21. That makes complete sense. Simple to do which is good to know. Right now I like having mine wrapped, but not sure what I will do down the road
  22. Appreciate it, Going to look into doing the same to my sunroof
  23. Have both, Agree with both statements
  24. Yeah those parts I already knew and took care of, what we were discussing was the power running boards which I expect are not simply plastic beneath the chrome, or at least as flimsy as the parts you listed.
  25. Who did you have it done by? I'm also from MB so im curious. I've always been told to not tint sunroof because of it causing the glass to retain the heat and lead to possibly shattering. But I've always wanted to have it done.
