  1. I made a separate post but figured I’d share here. Got it done yesterday. So many tabs holding the front piece between the bumper and grille on. I love the look though
  2. I have black chrome 6.2 badges (AT4 model) I don’t need. Brand new in the box. Was gonna have them paint matched but decided to just leave what I have alone.
  3. Yeah I’m not sure I wanna spend that. Maybe I’ll just level it and call it a day lol
  4. @Jake romeLooks great! I’m undecided on what to do. I think these trucks look great lifted but it’s gonna be about $5k to do it. Including wheels and tires. I’m looking at a 6 inch BDS lift
  5. That looks sinister. Love it! Are you lifted or leveled? Love to see more pics
  6. Yea it comes apart. You have to take your time as there’s bout 14 tabs and 4 bolts holding it together. Once you get it started it comes apart fairly easily. But the key is go slowly do you don’t break any tabs. Pic of the surround removed from the grille.
  7. I’ll have to take it somewhere for better pics but I also got rid of the black lighted emblem. It got lost in the grille without some sort of chrome trim to make it pop. Looked great at night but during the day meh. So I swapped to a black GMC emblem. Much easier to swap out with the grille out haha
  8. Not horrible to do, about 2 hours of taking my time. I like it much better now.
  9. https://suspensionmaxx.com/product/SMX-GM925M correct me if I’m wrong but I think this is what you’re looking for. They make a rear kit for the Denali to match your front when you level. I believe the guy even mentions it’s better than a 2 inch trail boss lift as you still have the ARC suspension. Not debating that comment just pointing it out.
  10. What are you powder coating on the bumper? The middle insert? Or the steps in the rear?
  11. I just looked at a parts list and figured they came apart easy enough
  12. Yeah I saw a carbon pro edition and thought the same
  13. Another pic of the front side
  14. Found an elevation grille on eBay with dark Sky metallic surround. About 14 tabs to carefully pry out and 4 (8)mm bolts held it in the grille. Called a few places about paint matching my grille and thought this would be a little cheaper and better route as it’s factory painted. when I get a warm enough day, I’ll be tackling this project of modding my Denali grille with the paint matched grille surround. Pic below if anyone was curious to see what the tabs looks like
  15. Noticed mine in a touch less car wash. Of course my problem was a foot of sealant wasn’t applied at the factory
  16. Bill Cramer GM. It was spelled like this though, billcramergm
  17. I’m well under warranty so if it fails they get to fix it again. Don’t wait til your warranty is up get it taken care of sooner than later
  18. My entire window got replaced. They brought in a glass guy to do the work. My issue was a foot of sealant wasn’t applied in the top passenger side of the rear window at the factory. I’ve had no issues since replacement. Dealer seemed to take care of me pretty well. No complaints.
  19. Dark Sky metallic is one of the few colors you can buy these trim pieces already painted, I see now they are hard to come by. They offer, black, white, and red tint coat as well. Otherwise you have to get them primered and then spend extra to get them painted
  20. Ah good catch. I’m getting my chrome surround paint matched when I get a lift installed so I’ll let them deal with it. I know I’ll break something taking that apart.
  21. Picked up a hard to find set of Dark Sky Metallic color matched wheel well trim from a GM dealer on eBay. Only broke 2 clips taking off the stock set. Perfect color match. Love the look so much better. Next up a 6 inch BDS lift and some wheels/tires. Probably/hopefully Spring for that project. S&B CAI arrived today as well.
  22. Ah I saw those. Maybe he removed that piece to get it apart easier?
  23. Hello, just looking for recommendations for someone who can color match my grill surround on my Denali. If anyone can recommend someone in Northeast Ohio I would appreciate it. It would be to delete the chrome surround on my grill and color match. Not the biggest of jobs so I’m open to having the chrome door handles done color matched as well. Enclosing a pic of what I’m looking to do to mine but in Dark Sky Metallic. This pic is something a dealer did but not anywhere near me. I’d rather give a local guy the money
  24. Can you share a link of the video that shows the grille removal? Hopefully it’s not the one I saw that almost shows all the steps. Hate when they do that
