    All good. I can see your point. If there were a chrome trim around it somehow it would definitely pop more. I simply don’t like the red emblems, but I like the illuminated emblem. The red illuminated one was a bit more muted than the stock one, which didn’t look as bad. So if I were to go back to that one I’d have to yank off the rear black ones. Which honestly I did like the look of the tailgate without the GMC emblems. So i may end up doing that.

    It’s cool if you don’t like it. I’m not easily offended. The color of my truck makes it tough for me to like red accents on it

    Those clips are cheap man. Broke one on passenger side. The bigger one near the passenger fuse panel. Ended up ordering a replacement because OCD

    Black emblems installed. Front illuminated. Much better than red on the Dark Sky metallic

    Don’t know why I didn’t do this first, but decided to switch my emblems to black. Illuminated front now black, which I now have the red one laying around. I don’t have 50 posts yet so I’ll have to wait a bit before it’s for sale. Also did the tailgate in black. Much better than the red on my dark sky color.

    But if you have a dash cam with parking mode this won’t work. Fuse tap is the best route for that. You need a source with power when ignition is off. Like the garage remote for example. I use a power magic pro so when I’m parked in my garage it’s off. When I head out somewhere, I can flip it on and it stays on when I park somewhere and hopefully catch an incident should one happen.

    Forgive my ignorance, but if you already have power running boards you couldn’t tap into the wires from the OEM set? I have a Denali and always liked the look of the amp steps.

    My dark sky Denali. First saw it on the lot the way the salesman said it was blue and the way the sun hit the color I almost walked back in and said there’s a gray one out there but I don’t see a blue one

    If you’re keeping the chrome accents, I’d look at a black wheel with machined accents. I kinda like those type wheels more than all black, for a truck anyways.

    I replaced my chrome mirror caps on my Dark Sky Denali. Discovered a set in Shadow Gray cheap. verified the paint code, ordered. Exact match.

    You’re welcome. I should add I use a power magic pro for parking mode. BlackVue is coming out with a new model which eliminates the need for this piece., dash cam model dr900x. But you’ll use the 3 wire setup the same way to tap into the fuses.

    Did a fuse tap. It’s accessory power fuse to heated steering wheel, constant power to garage door opener. It’s the BlackVue dr900s 2 channel camera

    The blend mount itself is adjustable for level as well

    My guy had a match to the rear but looked darker, so we went a shade lighter. Which I’m fine with because I don’t need the hassle with police. I have ceramic tint, not sure if that makes a difference

    Mine went into searching for satellite even though I was listening to an Xm station. Wouldn’t stop spinning on the screen. I believe it was acquiring signal message or something like that, second time I couldn’t power off the radio until I shut off the truck. Dealer did a usb update and has been fine thus far
