  1. the truck has made the rattle since march my truck went into the shop in mid march and they replaced valve body , transmission control module, and the transfer case actuator and just got it back a week ago and it’s still makes this random rattle at idle

  3. finally got a firm update today it’s the transmission control module part must be ordered from michigan 7 to 10 day lead time
  4. i’ve put over 25,000 on it since the lifter issue now the transmission is done , and it has sat at dealer for 3 weeks and no one has touched it since
  5. to stay on topic the dealer has had the at4 6.2 for 15 days nothing firm on what they plan to do to fix the 10 speed transmission

  10. my truck has been at the dealer since last tuesday now 8 days and they have no idea what’s wrong with it this is a dealer in tuscaloosa al they said “it could be electronical” but they don’t have a clue and they have no idea when they will no what the problem is update 4/7 now dealer says it’s in fact the transmission and it maybe the planetary gear they are taking transmission out now to see what’s broke they will then see if gm wants to rebuild or replace the 10 speed

  12. this truck has been a giant pos from day one bought new in january 21 in may of 21, lifters collapsed left me dead on the road dealer fixed and replaced one bank of lifters two weeks ago I was getting an awful clunk sound took to dealer and they attributed it to bad 87 octane and suspension clunk yesterday I was 200 miles from home with my two dogs in bfe and they clunk rattle was terrible the service 4wd the service engine low power mode came on limped to safe spot and called on star and they towed it to nearest dealer dealer thinks it’s the transmission 2 catastrophic failures in first 14 months the truck now has 39,000 miles needed to vent
  13. Since this latest generation I’ve had new standard bed z71 or x31 2015 130,000 miles transmission replaced at 108,000 just out of warranty 2018 Z71 60,000 miles no issues 2020 x31 32,000 miles no issues and now this gem 2021 6.2 all others were 5.3
  14. This best part is there are no trucks to replace my At4 it’s a standard bed which apparently over the last 7 years is frowned upon in a half ton my truck is very specifically setup for what I do everyday

Question is this issue being caused by the afm? if so if I get my truck back I’m thinking of Getting the pulse to disable afm issue : We are currently in the process of dismantling the affected side of the engine. We have had parts ordered for it. I should know more tomorrow. Lifter, push rod head bolts and gaskets
  16. This is their latest response “ Wellllllllll. We have some back ordered parts. We are searching the country for them now. I made GM aware of the situation
  17. I have a 2021 6.2 at4 that I bought new in January experienced severe engine knocking yesterday took it in to dealer I bought it from and they think it maybe a stuck lifter but they don’t know for sure very very frustrating could be 7-10 days without my truck anyone seen this ?
  18. I currently have a 2020 Sierra crew standard bed with the 24 gallon tank and loathe it. I drive roughly 40k a year ordering a 2021 at4 crew standard bed has anyone had any luck getting the 28 gallon installed in these crew cab standard bed trucks thanks
  19. The warn Trans4mer on my 18 Sierra worked on 18 Silverado Warn has one for 19 plus Silverado they have nothing for Sierra I assume you can make it work But not look as good

  23. @Scooter Scott the km3 I’m looking at are in the 70 lb range as well but I’m only planning to run them 2 months out of the year
