  1. Wow, you are getting that with the supercharger? That might push me over the edge in getting it. I would like a little more power.
  2. Thanks, I knew it was separate, but I ASSumed it was packaged in a closer location.
  3. It's also a great motor to buy based on what I wanted, other than the fact that they make it nearly impossible to add a larger tank. I don't tow much, but I have since buying the truck. I'm not unhappy with the purchase, just unhappy with GM's decision here. They have a 5 gallon DEF tank (if I'm not mistaken) that gets deleted for the gas motors. So I don't get why they couldn't have given us that five gallons in if they have the room? It would have given me a range of 600 miles, which would have been perfect. Also, for others who tow long distances, it would give them a range of 300 miles while towing.
  4. I'm alittle salty about the inability to add a second tank or add a bigger tank. It was part of the reason I bought it. It was one of the things I should have researched a little more. I know this isn't a "fringe" use case or Ford wouldn't offer a 36 gallon tank.
  5. Attached are my numbers currently. I have a ton of HWY miles, but also a ton of idling during the day. So I would say it evens out to about 50/50% equivalent HWY/City
  6. Actually, they do make more power. That's dyno verifiable. They also make more noise. Now, whether the 2-4% increase is worth the cost is up to the user, but they do make more power than one without it at WOT.
  7. It's a shame gm never gave us the maloo. I'm still a little hurt over this.
  8. Is there anything out there less aggressive? I wouldn't mind a 1-2 inch drop, and I love the 3-5 look. But I really don't want to deal with the issues that come from something that low.
  9. I would probably trade for another High Country if I did it. I would have to have supercruise to make the jump worth it, and I get the feeling they will probably limit that initially to the top trim.
  10. Agreed. Except for the liking column shifters. I was hoping to possibly upgrade in 2023 with supercruise and the button shifters. But no such luck.
  11. Geez, 29.7 is my 6.2 best 25 mile. I think my 400 is about 22. That's impressive.
  12. Did you get this finished? I'm saw their site and I'm considering going this route. I have an 10" Apline Type S sub from an old car and I kinda want some extra bump.
  13. Sorry you're correct. I mean it in the context that you can buy replacement pcb's with diodes for 5 bucks. But it's going to be a real bad day when people are starting to have to replace this stuff in the future. It's almost like they want these new vehicles to be disposable.
  14. Wow, that's pretty ridiculous, imo. I hope the LEDs last a long time based on transient's post, because 100+ to replace a 2 dollar bulb.
  15. Car dude, did you vinyl wrap the chome on your truck? I noticed it was black instead of chrome.
  16. It's a good thing they stopped adding things a long time ago since all they do is break.....
  17. Probably a low tech solution, but have you looked at pillows that they could use behind them? I know it's not ideal, just trying to think outside the swap route.
  18. No, I didn't attempt the door handles, because I didn't really intend on doing a full blackout job. I just couldn't deal with the glare. You have enough of an edge that as long as you use a sharp enough knife, you can cut around the edges. I used a mini squeegee to get it laid down tight to the edge and then cut the excess. I'm by no means a professional and there are small chome gaps. But it's far more tolerable than getting blinded by the sun. Just make sure you buy a minimum of 4in wide vinyl or you will have to do a ton of stretching like me.
  19. No worries. i appreciate the install info anyway.
  20. I took a 2 inch wide strip of 3M vinyl and then used a sharp exacto knife to trim the excess.
  21. I had to vinyl wrap mine. It did it twice on the way home my first week of ownership and I remedied that this weekend.
  22. Thanks. Were these sold this morning? I swear I thought I saw they were still available. I appreciate the comments on install.
  23. Oh, the wifey is easy, a jump seat in the bed and an umbrella for if I rains. Haha.
