    Does your SLT come with the X31 package (2 inch lift), you may need the Bilstein 6112 series.

    I put 3M ceramic tint over all of my "privacy dyed" glass and the front two windows. I've already noticed a difference in the temperature when my truck sits in the sun all day. the inside doesn't get as hot as it used to, and the sun doesn't "burn" my skin while driving. When my tint shop measured the original level of the "privacy dyed" glass, the front two windows were 70% and the rear windows were 24%.

    I believe it's normal. My 20'LT has it also, and it looks like it's there by design. Not sure why though.

    Can I wire my light bar to any of the other positive posts(have harnesses attached)on my battery vs the main positive post? Or could that be a potential hazard to what's already there?

    Just speculating..... but the road looks wet and I figure speed was probably also a factor, given the extent of damage to the silver Nissan. Hope it all works out for you.

    Me either. I have a 20' LT and from what I understand a single headlight cost around $1000, not including installation, whit has to be done by a "certified GM" installer.

    HUH..... I didn't know about that. I have that exact one (19416976). I got it in 2020 for around $450 including install. No one at the dealership told me about a recall. Not that I would expect them to anyway.

    I have a 20' 1500 LT with the LED projector headlights. I was wondering if there was any better headlights and a way to replace these without taking it to the dealer. The factory headlight are junk, there bright but don't cast the light.

    I also wanted to replace my bed lighting and did some looking. So far I have found no replacements from other manufacturers. Each of the bed lights is a whole LED unit that has to be replace in its entirety.

    I have a 2020 1500 LT crew cab standard bed 5.3l that was manufactured in March of 2020 in Mexico, it has "1500 LD" on the windshield cowl, but "LT" on the tailgate. I was wondering if anyone else with an LT has this difference in markings on their truck. It's not a big deal, but I'm just a little confused as to whether I have an LT or LD and why the difference in markings.

    Unfortunately no. Everything is run through the BCM. if you replace the switch with an after market one your headlights may not work. I've seen others add after market fog lights using a separate switch or a connector that makes the fogs come on with the headlights, but you have to check the laws in your state on that. In VA the fogs have to be on a separate switch from the headlights and must go off when the high beams are turned on, otherwise your vehicle will fail the safety inspection.

    Good luck with that. I've reviewed some videos on YouTube because I wanted to do the same to my LT. It's nearly impossible, although I have seen some people disconnecting their Sirius/XM radio connection under the glovebox and adding a custom harness and drilling through the dash to place a port on the prior generation of GM trucks. Not sure if that will work with the T1s as everything is controlled by the BCM.

    That's why I try to do what I can myself. Also I know that it was actually done, and done properly.

    The shops in my area charge anywhere form $120- $170 just for an 8qt oil change....Which is why I do it myself and it cost about $50. Tire rotations are $50-$80....another rip off.

    Some of those stations exist in my area, but those particular stations do not sell top tier gas. I will have to look into some fuel system cleaners.

    I have a 20' Silverado LT 5.3L. The manual says to put top tier gas in the tank but I haven't found any gas stations in my location (Northern VA) that sell top tier gas. Could not using top tier gas eventually harm my engine?

    Nothing Fancy....Just my CCSB 20' LT.

    You can do a mirror swap, but I believe you will need a different harness and the BMC would need to be flashed for them to actually work, and good luck getting a dealer to do that!
