The no sound problem is the audio amplifier. The audio amp has a heatsoak issue in some circuitry which causes it to miss the wakeup handhake. If it doesn't respond within a certain time parameter, then you get no sound. I brought it in and had the software update, but after further testing the tech made the call for a new audio amplifer. The software update I belive gives more time for the amp to respond, but if the amp is defective then you can still get no audio at times. After the update it went 12 days before no sound. After doing some research, apparently the fix is a new (updated) audio amplifer, the circuitry internally has been improved to better deal with heat. I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks because at the time, it was on backorder with no eta. Well the amp came in earlier this week. I had the amp and programming work done today. After picking it up I stopped at a few places, and whenever I started my truck, the audio was on instantly, so whatever they did it appears to work because it's never had sound that quickly......Hope this helps

Opening any door primes the fuel pump. And when turning off the vehicle there's all sorts of modules that go to sleep at various times and make all sorts of noises. Totally normal.

Yes, it's a dealer installed option, but it's on the main factory sticker (not the little dealer add-on one), so it's known which particular trucks will have the black-out package from the start, so they could have the black z71 fender emblem staged on the line where they get applied. Seems simple enough.

It's silly that the Z71 badge isn't part of the blackout package.

Picked this beauty up yesterday. Exterior-wise is still very similar to '21, but the interior is just WOW. 5.3 10spd (NO DFM)

I had to put the throttle setting back to stock too. Didn't like the weird shifting either.

Installed the Pulsar LT this morning. I bought a V8 and now I have a fulltime V8, happy girl.

Replaced the chrome lettering on the tailgate with black, which is how the trailboss should've come in the first place.

They just keep pushing the availability date back 2 week at a time. I wish they'd get them in stock already. Wanting to buy one.
