OBD pass through is what I was hoping. I mean dealers are able to sell the lifted trucks and black widows with out issues so it should be able to get done.
Like most here I've lifted my rig (3 1/2 inches) and the computer cant configure the parking assistance lines so 99% of the time so im just getting the hour glass. There needs to be some type of work around for this available? Trucks get lifted and also get LARGE aggressive tires put on them. The dealers been no help other than the slow 15 minute drive around the parking lot to get the lines back on which is great until the computer goes to sleep and the process starts all over again. Anything would help.........it honestly makes parking at night much easier.
Has nothing to do with noise. Its been proven on Dyno's CAI make a difference. Just changing your stock constricted air filter will make a difference. Theres enough data available to prove the claims since the 70's.
You also need to understand these auto manufactures are also in bed with the oil companies. If they weren't, vapor carburetors would be the standard pushing our heaviest vehicles on the road over 80+ MPG
Well it finally happened. Got the the hour glass of death and my parking assist lines vanished.
I've tried the safe mode reset, unplugging the battery and factory infotainment reset .
Trying to avoid going to the dealership. Have a feeling that's where I'm at? (hate that place)
Done some google searching. Haven't tried fuse #26, any other suggestions would help.
Only way for it to sound decent is to open your rear window if you have one. GM really screwed up on the 22 1/2+ Bose systems. Even if you upgrade for the OEM hide away sub the systems still pathetic. Just don't understand how Bose systems from the 90's sound better then ones being produced in 2025.
My guess is Bose cut corners during the pandemic on production of their speakers. Somethings just missing for this to be a premium system. I have 2 other gm vehicles produced in 2023 with Bose and the sound delivers so its isolated to GM's trucks.
major waste if you already have android auto or apple play. Why pay for a service twice?
Nothing needs a subscription to function properly on these trucks
if anyone needs a carb cert for California
