  1. Glad to hear you like yours, KinkyDuramax. I've had two with Bose systems at this point; a '20 Denali Ultimate and a '23 Denali Ultimate. I loved the sound system in my '20. By comparison, my '23 system was terrible. After upgrading the speakers I am now doing a new 12 ch amp, DSP, and stealth box sub./amp.
  2. Thanks, that did the trick. I was so sure it was a defect that I didn't consider it might be a settings change.
  3. I've got an issue that is really quite irritating. When I start my '23 Sierra Denali Ultimate, right after connecting to my phone via Bluetooth, Android Auto connects and immediately starts Spotify. I then have to go into the audio and switch it back to FM or Sirius XM or whatever. Is there a setting somewhere that I can undo?
  4. @shewstring I got the following: Helix CI3 W200FM-S2 for the front doors. 8-inch midbass/woofer. Helix CI3 K165.2FM-S2 component set for the rear doors. 6.5 inch/1-inch tweeter component set Helix T20FM-T1 1-inch tweeter for the pillars Blam LFR52 2-inch driver for the 3 dash speakers. Vastly improved sound but not enough of it, despite them testing and matching the impedance all around. Therefore, I will be getting a Helix V12 12-channel amp next. I also have the Kicker 10-inch subwoofer.
  5. No support for bass knob.
  6. Which trim level? 72mm (3.5 in) sounds pretty big. I just replaced the speakers in my '23 Denali Ultimate and the dash speakers were 2 inches, including the center dash speaker.
  7. Hey Justinshort, I didn't see a knob in mine. Kicker knobs are fairly cheap to buy on their own but the next question is, is there a port to plug the knob in? I don't have my truck to verify at the moment. I'll be getting it back later in the week and report back.
  8. Great question. I get the one about contact names every time also
  9. If you do, I might be interested in buying one from you. Or at least pay for the file so I can print it here. I just installed the Lock'er Down in my '23 as well.
  10. On the recommendation of Diamond817 I also got the Hankook Dynapro in 305/40r22. Great looking tire tread, not a lot of road noise, and the extra tire width suits the truck well.
  11. Can you not ship using tirerack.com?
  12. I've been looking around and saw some info on the speakers in Sierras and Silverados, but not necessarily specific to the Denali Ultimate. I know what size speakers go on the rear doors, front doors, and dash. What size speakers are on the door pillars? Is there a center speaker? What size is that? Any others? I saw something that said the Denali Ultimate has 12 speakers. I don't count that many grills...
  13. No pics yet but I have the Hankook Dynapro AT2 tires in 305/45r22 on my '23 Denali Ultimate. No lift. It's the size they should have put on the car, in my opinion.
  14. I'm taking mine over to get a professional install done but I never even thought about a DIY ceramic installation...
  15. I have this issue as well. I tried putting the phone in top first and having the phone unlocked when I placed it on the charger. Better, but the issue is still there intermittently. Next step is to check for an update and maybe see if the catty corrner thing helps.
  16. I would buy that lego kit in a second.
  17. I've never given it any thought and never had an issue.
  18. CarbonPro bed liner, folding tonneau through GM, and the GM bed mat. I don't like stuff sliding around in the bed either and I've always been a bed extender guy, but after buying the truck I found out GM doesn't recommend bed extenders with the CarbonPro. I heard that before on my '20 with the bed extender and multipro (which worked fine, BTW), so I went looking around. A guy on an AT4 forum installed it with the Lund bed extender and CarbonPro without issue. Mine is already on order.
  19. Has anyone attempted to install a bed extender with the CarbonPro bed? I've always had a bed extender with my trucks and it's one of those accessories for me that are "must have".
  20. I had been planning to buy a new '23 Sierra Denali Ultimate and send it off to Hennessey to get the supercharger installed. Just when I'm ready to pull the trigger, they tell me GM locked the computer down on the Sierras and they can't tune them, only the Yukon (WTH?). For a period I considered a TRX, then a Shelby F-150, but I'm a GMC truck man. I now hear about the FP700 where you can get a Whipple installed on the F-150, maintaining your warranty. Is GM going to jump into this HP war?
  21. I think so. It's been a while since I was researching but I do recall hearing something like that. My 2020 does have the bar. If I recall correctly, that's what caused me to get the HD Sport instead of the HD Max. Can't say I miss that little bit of space gained with the HD Max.
  22. I also got the AMP RESEARCH bed extender for my 2020 Sierra Denali with Multipro. They make three different types. Not sure if all work with the Multipro tailgate but I can confirm the AMP RESEARCH BEDXTENDER HD SPORT works fine
  23. I don't know much about suspension so I'm hoping I can get some guidance here. My 2020 Sierra Denali feels like there's a bunch of body roll and on the highway, going over bumps the truck seems to take forever to settle. Is that something you guys feel in yours? Do the Bilsteins help with this? Do they change the overall height of the truck?
  24. Hey folks, I joined this forum in 2002 right after I bought my first truck, a 2002 GMC Sierra Denali. I loved that truck, and by 2018 I had 150K miles. But I wasn't driving it very much anymore and it was taking up space in the driveway. So I sold it. And I immediately regretted it, but I didn't really consider getting a new one until a few weeks ago when I was awakened by a crash and noticed that a very large pine tree made the roof of my car look like a canoe. Fast forward a few weeks, and I am the new owner of a 2020 GMC Sierra Denali. So I'm back! Great to see this place is still around. I really enjoyed reading this forum.
