  1. Based on what I can tell, yes. As for updating it, its a mixed bag. Updates do fix a lot of issues, but occasionally can create some oddities. They do more good than harm though overall. Here's what the most current one does and a V171 Improvements Important: Improvements will vary by model, build configuration, system, and sales region. Not all vehicles have all features. OnStar and Wi-Fi may not work after remote start CarPlay may not automatically reconnect Part of the Driver Attention messaging screen may be in English even though the language is set to something else XM may not work After a dead 12V the radio may set to Arabic at each startup Bluetooth contacts might not be able to sync with the vehicle During an OTA the 12V battery may drain Customer might see a screen telling them to return to the dealer After changing the Wi-Fi SSID or password a device may not disconnect If a device is connected on the 2.4Ghz band, nothing will connect to the 5Ghz one, which could show as slow Wi-Fi speeds Customers might have noticed Wi-Fi dropping in certain areas and reconnecting later Customer might see the top of the screen blinking during Android Auto Android Auto may not connect CarPlay audio might momentarily cut out The "Add Phone" button may be grayed out The radio may not start up V167 Most Notable Improvements: Outside Air Temperature is incorrect. -You may see a popup message for Engine Shift. (Corvette Only) After changing the exhaust sound they get a popup that "mode change not applied", even though it was. -When changing volume, the volume bar is for Traffic instead of Audio. -(Corvette Only) Improvements to the placement of buttons and text. -If the customer receives the message "Apple CarPlay Could not connect", the cursor might move in the opposite direction than expected when using the control knob. -Android Auto automatically starts playing their music, even though they have turned that off in settings. -Intermittently they have a red OnStar LED with no OnStar function and/or no audio. -The minimum length of the Wi-Fi password was increased to 12 characters. -The popup message "Driver Attention Check, check your mirrors or Super Cruise will shut down" may not have come up on the display when it should have. -Startup animation added for 20th anniversary of the V-Series on Cadillacs. -The Navigation app received location improvements when going under long underpasses. -In the Navigation app there are filters for charging points that the vehicle cannot use. V164 Most Notable Improvements Most notable improvements contained in this release may include: Apps Intermittently, an “SD Card Removed” message will pop up in the Navigation app. While in the audio app, the radio may stop working. Trailer Tire Pressure sensors may not be learned in the Trailer app. Not being able to return to the home screen while in the Camera app. After an ignition cycle, the radio might go to a black screen or stop working if using Sirius XM. Spotify icon truncated on Audio app. SXM When changing power modes with the ignition switch, the HVAC pop up might appear. During startup, the radio will show the brand splash screen then go blank. Receiving a confirmation pop-up when changing drive modes. A “Return to Dealer” message may appear on the radio screen. SuperCruise setting toggle may not work. System After an ignition cycle, the radio might go black or stop working if using Sirius XM (SXM). Settings When performing a factory reset, the radio may stop working. After performing a factory reset, the radio may stop working when trying to switch users. When trying to go into the Language section quickly after startup, the radio may stop working. Projection Wireless CarPlay cannot be connected after unpairing another wireless Android Auto device. When the Android Auto screen comes up to connect wirelessly, the screen may freeze if the Cancel button is pressed. Removed the Apple CarPlay Cannot Connect screen when a device fails to pair during the autoconnect process. CarPlay information may not show up in the audio app. Near Field Communications (NFC) chime may be heard when NFC does not work. The Cannot Connect screen does not pop up after the first connection on wireless CarPlay fails. Apple CarPlay is now functional in Guam. Over the Air (OTA) When a software update is cancelled, the downloading logo may still be displayed. Energy When using the Energy app, the radio may stop working. When plugging in the vehicle, the display might show “Now” instead of “Charging Upon Plug In.” Instrument Cluster Voice recognition can be started while on an OnStar or phone call. When downloading contacts, there is a progress bar and circles on the Recents page of the cluster. The temperature on the cluster and the display may be different. After receiving and ending a call on the secondary paired phone, the cluster may get stuck on the phone menu. Bluetooth Intermittent Bluetooth connection loss.
  2. GM Global A pickups 2019-2022 can do OTA programming for the radio. GM VIP (GM Global B) can do OTAs for almost every module on board. So a 2022.5 and newer pickup can do OTAs for recalls like the 2.7 fuel flow recall. EVs get OTAs that improve one pedal driving, radio issues, HVAC issues, updated battery management software, etc. So age of the vehicle/what GM electrical platform its on will alter what amount of updates can be pushed on OTAs.
  3. Dexos is for engine oil. Not gear oils.
  4. That's about 4-5 build versions old if you have the 8 inch IOS or IOT radio. V155 is the number that tells you what version of software it has. Newest IOS/IOT radio software is V171 which was released June 2024. You'd have to pay out of pocket for the update at the dealer. TSB on the current software is 24-NA-108. MC-11004657-0001.pdf
  5. You'd be the first to make it happen if you tried it that I know of. You'd have to order a pair of option code DLF mirrors for a Chevy HD truck, and then attempt to swap all the components from those LTZ 1500 mirrors you bought on to the DLF HD mirror mount. If it would work.
  6. Get a Range AFM disabler or have someone with a tuner go in and turn off AFM. Simple fix. You should be lucky it didn't lunch the camshaft.
  7. 1500 mirrors will NOT fit HD. They do NOT share doors which means they don't share mirrors. There is only one small mirror for HD and it has nothing but heat and power glass. If you have cameras and blind spot, your only option is the factory equipped towing mirrors.
  8. If it won't pull it, then it won't pull it. You'd have to use one of those sites where you can buy a reprint.
  9. Shock and spring rates are specific to the NHT max tow package. Changing them will alter the performance of the suspension. Not even the factory GM Trail Boss 2 in lift is compatible with NHT trucks as well. Can you install it? Probably. Will it alter the capability of the NHT package? Yes.
  10. NHT is diesel only, correct. The GVWRs for NHT on 3/4 ton bring them to the same numbers as many of the 2WD 1 tons. A crew 4x4 standard 3/4 with NHT is 11,750lbs, a 1 ton same cab/box/4x4 is 12,100lbs. Hubs and hub bearings are the same for 11.5" and 12" axles. Housing, diff carrier and ring/pinion are larger for the 12". All gas use the 11.5" axle, 3/4, 1 ton and 1 ton DRW.
  11. Max Trailering Package. RPO code NHT. includes 3500 HD Frame, 3500 HD Leaf Springs, 12" Rear axle and 3500 HD Shock Package. GVWR goes to 11,750lbs for crew cab standard box 4x4, 11,900lbs for crew cab long box 4x4. 2WD crew standard is 11,500lbs, 11,550lbs crew long 2wd, and 11,450lbs on regular and double cab 4x4. There is also NHT on 1 ton dually regular cab 2WD. includes 3500 HD Frame, 3500 HD Leaf Springs, (F60) Heavy Duty Front Spring/Camper Package, 12" Rear axle, 3500 HD Shock Package, and Z6A Gooseneck / 5th Wheel Prep provisions with bed stamped holes and caps. GVWR of 14,000lbs.
  12. That's bad. Like, its probably destroying the stub axle the CV slides into. Do you have a proper lift installed with differential lowering brackets? Did you install AT4/Trail Boss factory CV axles?
  13. Did you tune out the VVT? 07-09 they did not have VVT. 2010-2013 they did. If you haven't tuned it, its trying to adjust cam timing.
  14. You'd want the Pulsar to be safe. That was the first product that worked for 10 speed trucks that they came out with. Range Technology 22451 Pulsar LT for 2019-2022 GM Gas Trucks That said, in the features description of the RA003B, it does list it working with 10 speeds. However there are reports that the RA003B can cause some drivability issues on early 10 speeds. So the Pulsar is the safest move IMO. Range Technology RA003B AFM/DFM Disabler Features: Range AFM/DFM Disabler keeps you in full power 100% of the time Simply plug into your onboard OBD-II port and it instantly begins working to eliminate the AFM system Disables Auto Start/Stop Blue LEDs The Range AFM/DFM Disabler does not reprogram factory ECU Works in hundreds of applications, 2007-2022, including 10-speed models. Leaves no trace, unplug it to return to factory settings Virtually no battery draw Fits all V6 and V8 General Motors (GM) active or dynamic fuel management vehicles, includes cars, trucks, and SUVs This device does not support the 2022.5+ Refresh model trucks or 2021+ SUVs To confirm your 2022 model truck is compatible with this unit, check your VIN. The 12th digit in an early model must be a '4' or lower Made in USA
  15. Just buy the tube and move on with life.
  16. Real Truck handles the warranty via GM. We don't submit a warranty claim with GM, we have to submit it with Real Truck with a specific email/phone number. Real Truck determines if the issue is covered or not based on the issue and pictures submitted.
  17. If you need that mount looking piece. You need the air tube. Cheapest one I see on eBay - 2007-2014 GM Silverado 1500 Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Assembly 5.3L OEM 15901934 | eBay Same price but free shipping - 2009-2014 CADILLAC ESCALADE 6.2L AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT ASSEMBLY 15901934 OEM | eBay
  18. These are the other two I see listed. 15159494 15045503
  19. What module exactly? They list two EBCM (electronic brake control module) for 2500HD (with or without adaptive cruise) and both show stock. Low stock, but stock none the less.
  20. One of these? GM # is 15041307. Or. For some reason a couple years they show this on only the little hose to that duct spot. 15041309:
  21. Year/make/model/engine?????????????? From the looks of the piece you need, pushes into the airbox and then the big loop clips around the radiator hose? If you have a u-pull-it yard you could get just that piece and not the whole tube.
  22. Couple plausibilities. - Bent pushrod - Bad injector - Roller lifter failed and has been eating the cam lobe(s). - Broken valve spring All are options. Most common that I can recall would be the valve spring (hard to see the break on it as well), the cam/lifter and the injector.
  23. None of the column ones will engage the park brake when shifted to park unless its enough of an incline that I know of. Can't program it to do so either. Anything electric shift can and will engage it automatically at all times.
