Okay here is my interpretation of the instructions, the picture on the left with the inlet at the dipstick is for normal operation the picture on the right with the red arrows is for off road use only. That's what it says on my instructions. I don't know if I am correct on this it is just a theory. Has anyone contacted them to verify which way is correct?
I decided to do something different for adding media to the filter, I was afraid that the stainless steel pot scrubber material would somehow break apart and get sucked into the intake manifold so I went with stainless steel mesh instead I used key rings for spacers in between the mesh and assembled it. I also added O rings to the inlet & outlet fittings as well as the dipstick this will ensure there are no leaks. I am now working on fabricating an aluminum bracket to mount the can. Waiting for the weather to warm up to do the install.

I just received my catch can in the mail today I purchased the silver color. The machining is impressive and the quality is first class, I just ordered a new foul air PCV hose from my dealer so I can use the quick connect fittings for the install it will take a week to get this as it needs to come from the USA. Hopefully by that time the weather will be above zero so I can do the install.
I think I am going to use 3/8" inside diameter polyurethane tubing for this install I think it will be better than using rubber it is fuel and oil resistant and I know that it wont collapse under vacuum but I will wait till the weather warms up to do my install it will be -30 here overnight.
I just ordered a set today. They will be at my local tire shop on Monday and they will be installed next Saturday morning. Lots of early snow up here in Canada and it's like a zoo at any tire store you go to, huge line ups everywhere.
I just finished my install today I looked at Black-n-Gold's instructions but I followed Moto's instructions it's much easier to solder the connections when they are right in front of you. I used the grey green wire so that when I hit the remote twice the tailgate opens with the other doors. Thanks for the write up Moto.
My Diamondback arrived on Friday and I installed it yesterday afternoon. I am very happy with the fit and finish, the quality is first class I got the Linex coating to match my Linex bed spray in liner, the installation was a breeze
How do you like it? I am thinking of doing the same thing and going with the SE. I like the security of this cover my only concern is that if it will it keep water from entering the box. I have a new Sierra SLT on order so I have some time to make my decision. Please provide some feedback on your experiences of the diamondback.
