Actually you don't have to replace the remote. You can just change the shell. Open the old one and swap the internal card and battery (might as well replace the battery for a new one while at it) to the new shell. That way there is no reprogramming required.

When I did the same upgrade, I went to Discount Tire. They took my used ones on trade. Gave me about 70 each but mine only had about 3000 on them. They may not be available in your area but maybe another store will do the same.

Just had this issue with a rental. Researching some said to open Waze on your phone first Then hook it up to your truck. Worked for me.

Definitely not too much weight. I did drive 1100 miles to get a GMC Terrain and rented a car carrier from uhaul. The main thing to keep in mind is to never get into a situation where you have to back up. When you get gas, stop at a truck stop. When you stop to get something to eat or drink, park someplace where you can pull straight out. Think first when stopping some place. Keep your speed down and increase your following distance. Check out any towing videos out there. The worst thing about my trip was some butt tailgated me all the way home. Every time I looked in the rear view mirror there was that Terrain.

Sounds like someone either started the process of registering the tire pressure sensors on your vehicle or on one close to yours. Have them complete that process on yours.

Depends on the vehicle. I was thinking of my wife's Terrain. I forgot but the purple one is maybe for Onstar and GPS. I do know that on my Sierra and the Terrain the gold connector is for XM.

You got the wrong antenna. The purple connector is for FM radio. The gold one is for XM

There is none. The flashers are controlled by the BCM.

You have everything reversed. What is on the left should be on the right and what you have on the right should be on the left. Swap the sensors around.

Can you show the other side?

Do not use the frame as a gound point. Run the ground wire from each light to the ground wire up front. Logically using the frame should work but I have seen posts on here and other forums many times about this sort of thing and running the separate wire fixed the issue.
