2021 Sierra won’t stay connected to my home Wi-Fi or phone hotspot

My truck started prompting me to update my software a couple of weeks ago. As soon as I put it in park it dings and an update shows up on my screen.

 

The 1st time I tried it I was not hooked up to Wi-Fi so it did not work.

 

I have pulled it into my garage and hooked up to my home Wi-Fi and tried several times to update but it never updates. I leave my radio on so I know it trying because the radio stays on after I lock the truck. I have a good enough Wi-Fi signal in my garage to run ring cameras which are further from the router but the truck won’t stay connected to my home Wi-Fi.

 

i have also tried hooking to my hotspot on my phone. Same thing. It connects and then disconnects 20 seconds 

 

does anyone have any ideas or do I need to take it to the dealer and let the them update the software?

Joke is on me. Took it to the dealership and they said since it was out of warranty I had to pay their hourly rate to update my software. No thanks
