I will definetly say it doesn't ride stock. The rear rides better than stock due to the loss of the leaf springs in favor of the 4-link. But the M/T tires harden the ride.
But we do take it to Orlando, west coast of Florida, etc from Fort Lauderdale often. I won't complain about the ride.
Daily drive it every day. Actually my wife does. Picks the kids up from school. Sports. You name it. Gets washed every Saturday and waxed once a month.
Coilovers will ride better and give you adjustability to go a little higher if desired. If money wasn't a concern you'd be foolish not to run the coilovers
1.5" is ideal. You'll only have to trim the nipples on the studs, nothing to do with the threads. Not a big deal. 2" will make the track width wider in back.
