Oshawa has built pick ups for the Canadian Armed Forces in the past.

I wonder if a lot of that will be out the window w/ the Brightdrop van being discontinued?
Thanks guys. Something didnt seem right to me about it.
Also, about the engines that were being assembled, are they still in production & are they built in the same facility as the truck motors? To my uneducated eye, the process seemed more low production/handbuilt vs high volume. Then again I was never in the St Catherines plant during an actual shift.
How accurate is this video:
To my eyes, some of the footage seems inaccurate. One shot has a motor w/ a clutch instead of a flywheel. Another has upswept headers rather than cast iron manifolds.
And really Mary Barracuda pleased that it's an ICE... I'm not sure why she's on the 'teaser' shot.
Finally isn't the new motor scheduled to come out in MY2027?
T1XX I dont know if GM has an internal breakdown for the code. IIRC GMT953 was what we referred to the retooling in Oshawa when we went from extended cab to crew cab production. I think the extended cabs were GMT943s.
Please correct me if I have these crossed up.
@Chuck FB did you ever see this brochure in the past?
I picked it up @ an Esso station here in Ontario quite a few years ago. I'm guessing in the 90s (no date on it) before synthetics became commonplace.
When I left Oshawa Truck in 2008, that was half a shift's production.
I bought a 2024 a year ago September. 30,000 klicks later it's been back to the dealer twice for the fee oil changes.
EDIT: Build date for the truck was June 2023.
