I installed Aries 3D front floor mats, the OEM's were just too "industrial" appearing plus my shoes kept hanging up on the oversized ridges and heel pad. These fit perfect and look fantastic.
Yeah no doubt that 6.2 mileage is insane! My 6.2 amazes me and averages 17+-18+ on my 50 mile daily drive of 50/50 mix highway and stop and go. I find it all to tempting to lay the hammer on Mondays and Fridays though!
Those of you on the fence for the Helm manuals, the first time you do something like pop the door panels off or need a wiring diagram you'll have paid for the manual.
Well, after we shortened up the driveshaft 1.5", everything went together great. I'm really happy with the way the truck is coming together. Magnaflow system isgoing on today, tint tomorrow and then black out that grill some and I'll call it good...I'll keep you guys posted.....Rich
Looks good, I've decided to go with the Belltech 3/5 - 4/6 adjustable drop PN#996. I'll have to lower it 3/5 until I get wheels, the factory tires on the LTZ 20's are too tall and wide and will rub when lowered 4/6.
I want to tune fuel, air and timing tables on straight gas, and Dyno on straight gas, that way I have a good apples to apples comparison and I want alcohol gone first so that my target AFR's aren't changing all around on me as it adjusts to different alcohol content. I wouldn't normally do a VE tune on a bone stock vehicle but with this being a brand new ECU I'm just curious as to how far the factory calibration is off. I could just tune the MAF in a couple hours and call it good but my curiosity gets the best of me.
Honestly, good is subjective. IMO, it's OK a little louder than stock, but the spring flap has to go. It is super annoying when it rattles and others have had issue with it sticking shut and their truck wouldn't start. After having a Solo exhaust on my 2010 2SS Camaro, quite frankly this sounds like SH!T.
The above is just my opinion, yours may be different.
