Not the wildest thing but I just picked up my first GMC truck. 14' SLE Crewcab 5.3 w/3.4's. Right now my only mods planned are the black GM side steps, black hood deflector, and either a drop in bed liner or a Line-X Spray in. If anyone has a pick of the GM drop in bed-liner share please. Really want to see the fitment and quality on them.3 points

The Denali replaced the All Terrain due to issues. My problem was how long and repetitive issues. It did not vibrate but did have the exhaust issues in addition to others. Secondly the new Denali I am leaving the stock tires on for now and the truck is actually smoother than the old one. Only put on new tires on the old one for the all terrain look and towing. So far I like the replacement better. The iridium is killer! Only thing is the new collision detection seems worthless, however like the lane departure.2 points

I don't have any issue with rubbing. I did not have to trim or cut anything. The ride is noticeably different. The first difference is due to the raised CG which gives a bit more of a boat in the ocean feel. Nothing major but with any lifted truck on 30+" tires you're bound to get that type of feel. I'd say with the lift it rides similar to how my last 2500 ram did. You feel bumps in the back now. When there is cargo or a trailer its less noticeable but unloaded on the highway it feels stiffer. The rear feels a bit jumpy over rough surfaces. It doesn't get out of hand. Its not as bad as a 3/4 or 1 ton unloaded truck would be but its not the stock soft fee. I've been wondering why because from what I figure it really isn't any stiffer in the rear because the spring rates are the same but it doesn't have the Cadillac type ride it did before the kit. I do not feel any noticeable axle wrap. I didn't watch it from below but I've had trucks with it pretty bad so I know what it feels like. I am not sure if the optional rear spring pack would be worth doing for the amount of time I drive without any trailer or cargo. The springs will make it stiffer for sure and given how it feels now I'm leaving it alone. I had discussed the springs with BDS and I'm pretty sure as of now I'm not going to get them. When towing I have the airbags with stabilizes the ride. I did order some hellwig bars which I haven't received yet. I think that will reduce the roll to a level I'm comfortable with. If it doesn't I'll just remove so its not a big deal for me to try them. I am getting a little more used to the look of the truck now. I may still do a few small things to try to make it look the way I envision it should but for the most part I'm good with the project overall and even if I make no other visual changes I'd be fine with it as it sits now. I have so many other things (non-lift related) that I still have to do so I may take a break from the lift and move on to the other projects and then when those are complete I'll revisit the stance and lift.1 point

I work at the local GM dealership and have had nothing but problems with the '15 Sierra I had. Seat problems and the vibration issue at 70mph+. After three sets of tires...both Goodyear and Bridgestone H/L,countless road force balances, motor mounts shimmed, rear end pretty much rebuilt and two drive lines the truck still had the problem. Started at 400 miles. The dealer...my employer...said I could trade it in and they would give me top dollar... Lol! Yeah top dollar was a joke! I talked to a friend who is a attorney and he said file Lemon Law but it would take a while. Well I went down to the RAM store that I also used to work at and bought a '14 1500 crew Lonestar and I'M IN LOVE! I've had a lot of Dodges but all were diesels. The best part is they swapped me out pretty much even....I owe $111.27 more than I did on my Sierra. My dealer (employer) didn't even ask me why I went to a RAM when they saw it parked at the dealership. Tooooo many people in my area are believing the Jack ass service writers when they claim it's just because of the road or because GM has added so much payload cap to these trucks. I'd love to tell all these folks but I'm sure that would end up whith me outta a job. I work at the local GM dealership and have had nothing but problems with the '15 Sierra I had. I just started at the dealership 45 days ago in the parts dept...I think they offered me the job hope ing I'd just live with my defected POS truck....hahaha1 point
