  1. I did the 2 inch level to my at. The gas mileage suffered about a half of an mpg. But the truck sure does look better. Get a 1.5 or 2 inch
  2. give it a few days... log out and try again. I believe it takes a day or so...
  3. All I can say is I did notice it once... but really haven't felt a need to bring it up to the dealer yet.....and I do "bring up" most everything... lol. It did clear up quickly on it's own. If you do talk to the dealer.. let us know what happens.
  4. I noticed this on one light as well on my LED running lights. when I pulled into the garage during rain. It went away quick... I think the lights have little vents somewhere. Did your lights clear up quick? I wouldn't be too concerned if it did...
  5. Do you have a power seat or manual seat?
  6. Mine started getting better at around 1,200 miles. Only 2K now... hope it continues to "learn" something new! I hate the trans in these trucks..
  7. It said only seats with manual seat backs.....hummm
  8. whatever... I'm sure 2013 Chevy was perfect and had no issue. I'm sure your 1996 Ford is also perfect and never had any issues ... The truth is that every car/truck, every year has it's issues. The 2014 has no more issues than any other year.
  9. think I lost about .5 MPG with just a 2in level... and air dam still in place. People are full of it when they say these engineers don't know what they are doing with aero especially.....
  10. mine is like a cadillac
  11. I'm getting around 17.5 - 90% flat highway driving at 76-78 mph cruise. 2in level kit, stock 275 tires, 3.42 gears
  12. The 4x4 shop that installed mine.. I think the guy is pretty reliable source. He has been doing this for 25 years. I can't remember exactly the details... he just said after 2in, you could be asking for trouble. And he said it had something to do with electric steering and / or linkage to it. I didn't remember word for word because I knew from the start I only wanted 1.5 or 2in anyway.
  13. Don't get 2.5.... I heard it can mess with the electric steering in the new trucks. I would get a 1.5 inch or 2 inch max. I have the 2 inch kit, I almost wish I would have gotten on the 1.5 inch. My truck sits about 1.5 inch higher in the back. I have the stock 275 tires, and will keep it that way Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2
  14. so what is better for the coil spacer up front... Polly or Steal ? I see some places offering both
  15. Anytime you change the geometry of a truck (level kit, life, etc) you are going to change the ride, handling .... how much depends on how high you went. And the change is always generally for the worse.
  16. 20in .. AT package..
  17. Does the All Terrain Trucks need a different kit??? I thinking about doing this... but I would want the front end still slightly lower. I'm guessing a 1.5 or 2in would be right?
  18. Any thoughts on actual HP gains? I found this.. looks clean and easy. But $300... http://afepower.com/shop/details_new.php?partno=54-32332&menu=gastruck&searchtype=engine&engineid=125&groupid=CG6&brandID=53
  19. personally.. I wouldn't have any. I think the trucks look cleaner without. Plus.. do you really need them? Hell.. I'm only 5'8 and used to end up stepping over them most the time to get in and out of the truck. They were just in the way. That was my old 2008. I think these 2014 trucks are even closer to the ground. If I was to get them... it would be the automatic deployment type that drop down when you open the door... then hide away.
  20. Your right... that 3m was junk... it came off a few days after. I just decided to keep a good coat of wax up front... and don't follow other cars too closely on the highway. Then again.. I only drive about 10K per year.
  21. I have the Iridium Double Cab All Terrain with colored bumpers - (same truck in the pics above) My thoughts - The colored bumpers / grill looks better especially in the darker colors like Iridium. However, you will get more rocks chips, etc with everything being painted up front vs having chrome. For the all terrain - I think if you have the color all terrain grill... the colored matched bumpers just look better.
  22. perfect , thanks
  23. Does anyone know what this does? I looked all through the book and can't find anything. It says RDS on or off. I believe this was in the radio settings...
